Katniss POV- (That weekend)

Since Peeta and I found the letters from my sister, things have been kind of awkward between us.

We aren't mad, we are just kind of not sure about things.

I guess we are still kind of recovering from the shock.

She knew.

I'm not really sure when she wrote the letters but her hypothesis was correct.

It makes her death a thousand times worse for both Peeta and I but I can't go back to the way I was before college.

I can't do that to myself or to Peeta.

Not this close to the one event that was Prim's wish.

Our wedding.

Everyone should be over in about an hour for the get together and I'm hoping it'll help Peeta and I get back to happy.

I walk into the kitchen to find Peeta preparing dinner for about 16 of us.

"Hey." I say softly, walking up behind him.

He turns around and smiles softly, "Hi." He says plainly and continues cutting vegetables.

"Bristol and Carter should be over soon." I inform him.

He nods, not looking up from his work.

"I'm going to go get ready. Don't stay in here too long." I say softly, walking out of the kitchen.

I go upstairs and change out of my dirty-from-cleaning-all-day clothes.

I go back downstairs just as I hear a knock on the door.

I try to look a little happier as I walk over and open up the big wooden door to find Bristol and Carter on our front porch.

My face instantly lights up when I see the brown eyed baby staring up at me from her carrier.

"Well, hi, there." I say in my baby voice and I look up to Bristol who smiles.

"Come on in." I say, stepping back.

Bristol and I walk over to our couches and she sets Carter on the floor as we both sit down on the long couch.

"How are you doing?" She asks politely.

I shrug, "Okay, I guess. Things have been kind of rocky between Peeta and I after we found some things of my sister's the other day." I explain.

Bristol frowns.

"Well, I mean were not mad at each other, just kind of awkward and sad." I save.

"I understand. I hope things get better, sweetie." She says kindly.

"Thank you." I say, looking down at my hands, awkwardly.

Since Bristol had me go home the second night of her living in Twelve, she hasn't needed much help. She has seemed to gotten the hang of things for the most part.

"How's life with baby?" I ask her, smiling.

Bristol chuckles, "Pretty good. She's sleeping almost all night now." She informs me.

I raise my eyebrows and look down at Carter who just stares at us.

"Good job, baby girl!" I cheer to her.

She blinks at me and I turn back to Bristol.

"When is everyone else coming?" She asks, obviously very nervous.
