Katniss POV-

"Stop." Peeta says with a laugh and nudging my shoulder with his.

I can't hide the smile that crosses my face, "No." I say, all high pitched.

Peeta chuckles softly, "So, what would you like to do for your birthday?"

I laugh, "What?"

"Your birthday, it's coming up. What would you like to do?" He asks again.

I shrug, "I don't care." I say.

"You have nine days to decide." He smiles happily.

"You're so sweet sometimes, Peeta."

"Sometimes?" He asks 'offended.'

I chuckle, "Yeah, sometimes. Not when we argue but I still love you when we argue."

"And I love you too even when you make me want to pull out my hair." He teases.

I nod my head with a smirk and he shakes his head at me.

"We are seriously running out of things to do." He shrugs.

I nod.

"We are already like an old married couple. We just argue and do nothing all day. And we sleep a lot." I say truthfully.

Peeta chuckles.

"We could talk about the same thing over and over and it never gets old but doing the same things over and over is getting quite boring." He says.

"Agreed. So, we should come up with some more things to do."

"Okay, tell me a few things we could try." He tells me.

I think for a second, "Hm..." I begin, "We could paint more often, bake more, read books, go exploring, go visit people-oh, I know! We could go to the nursing home again. We haven't been there in a long while, Peeta."

He laughs, "Yeah, how about we go tomorrow?"

"I like that idea."

"Sounds good."

I give him a satisfied smile and he returns it, "We should probably get off the floor. We've been down here for a long time." He laughs.

"Yeah, probably." I laugh.

"Early bed?" He asks softly.

I stretch my stiff back and arms, "Yes, please."

He laughs and helps me up, we walk down the hall to our bedroom.

"We really are like an old married couple. It's like seven." He laughs.

I go to the bathroom and take a quick shower, getting dressed and finding Peeta in bed, laying flat on his back but I can't see his face.

"You still up?" I ask quietly, just in case he isn't.

Peeta turns his blond head, "Yeah." He says tiredly.

I walk over and sit down next to his lain body.

I lean down and kiss his forehead.

"So, when will you start working again?" I ask him curiously.

"I don't know. I haven't told anyone anything, just you." Peeta speaks steadily but I can tell that he doesn't really want to talk about it anymore.

"Oh. Okay." I say, softly.

I stand up and walk around to my side of the bed but not before I flip off the light.

I run to the bed and jump up as if something was to get me.
