The heat of the sun peaks thru the small window of the cabin and directly hits Taehyung's face. He opened his eyes slowly to adjust to the light before he glanced to his side, but Jin isn't there anymore.

A small smile formed at his lips as he closed his eyes again, realizing that he's now wearing clothes as he remembers that he was too tired to put them on last night after making love with Jin. Jin must've put it on for him as he recalls that the dentist was tenacious that he should wear his clothes again because it was too cold.

But Taehyung felt exhausted and just wanted to fall asleep beside the man he loves. He never felt cold. All he knew was that it was so warm, with Jin in his arms, and with him holding onto the hopes of being with Jin when they get back to Seoul.

He got up, fixed himself and stared outside the window. He's been hearing Jin talking to the old lady, perhaps, right in front of the cabin. He looked at them and found that they are sitting in front of a cauldron on top of a fire pit. "They must be cooking."

"Are you husbands?" The old lady asks Jin.

"No, we're not grandma." Jin answered. The old lady insisted that they call her 'grandma' since it's what other people usually call her.

"But you're in love."

"Uhmm..."

"That's not a question kid. I know you are. It's the first thing I noticed when I saw you two looked at each other last night."

Jin smiled at her. Were they that obvious, he thought. Or maybe it was just because their feelings were so real that it was clearly evident just by looking at them. It made him smile as he felt happy.

"But it was complicated at the moment, grandma." Jin whispered with his lips pouted.

"Everything is complicated when it comes to love, kid. Just like this," she points at the snow beneath their feet, "People say the expression 'crystal snow' often, saying they shine like diamonds in the sky when the sun hits its crystal white color.

But the snow is never crystal clear, kid. It's always blurry. You can't see through it. That's how unclear and complicated love is. But that's what makes it beautiful, my dear, like sparkling diamonds in the sky – it's amazingly beautiful."

Jin is teary-eyed by what the old lady has spoken. She's right, he thought. No matter how blurry it is, it was crystal clear to him what he feels for Taehyung right now.

When Jin heard the door of the cabin opened, he quickly wiped his eyes and greeted Taehyung. "Good morning!"

"Woaahh, that smells great!! Good morning Jin, Ma'am." He bowed at the old lady then kissed Jin on the forehead.

"Her name is Des. But she'd like to be called grandma. We're making chicken and veggies stew." Jin said as he caressed Taehyung's face while pulling him down to sit with them.

"Wow that sounds delicious! And it smells delicious already! Thank you grandma for letting us stay for the night." Taehyung smiled at her.

"Now that it's bright, I can see that both of you are really handsome! You are like a celebrity." The old lady said amazed by seeing Taehyung for the first time out in the light.

"Haha! He is actually a celebrity grandma." Jin giggled.

"Well, grandma doesn't have a TV here so she must not know. But thank you grandma! I'll give you an autograph before we leave."

The three of them laughed at Taehyung's pun.

"Oh, I might not know you well. But maybe my grandson does."

"You have a grandson? I thought you live here alone?" Jin asked.

"No, he's not here. But he visits me here regularly to bring me stocks of food and the things that I need. He only comes every 2 or 3 weeks, depending on his schedule. He might be able to help you find a way to go back. He lives in the town at the foot of this mountain.

But you just missed him, he was here a couple of days ago. Maybe it's better if you just wait for him to come back. It is still a long way to the town. I doubt you'll make it there fast as it takes him a whole day to travel here in his 4x4 jeep." Grandma explained.

"Ahh I see. But wouldn't we be too much of a bother to you, grandma? Your food might not be enough for the three of us." Taehyung said.

"Oh kid, my grandson brings a whole lot of supplies for me. I am not a big eater. I never get to finish them. It'll be enough for us. Besides, it would be nice to be with guests sometimes."

"Why do you live here alone, if I may ask? Isn't it dangerous and difficult?" Jin asked.

"No, it's not that dangerous. And I'm used to this kind of life than that of in downtown. And it is really beautiful here when it's not winter. The air is fresh, it is very peaceful. I prefer to die here than in the noisy city."

"Oh, well it does look like it's nice to live in this kind of place. You may seem to be worry-free and just serene." Taehyung smiled while looking at Jin.

"Okay, I think the stew is done. Let's eat! Then after, you can boil some water here and take it to the bathroom at the back, so you can properly wash yourselves. Both of you smell like semen from here." The old lady uttered.

Jin and Taehyung stared at each other, holding their laughter in but then suddenly burst when they hear grandma chuckled giddily.

*******

The heat of our two hearts,
Flow right into this new melody,
Let's sing this song
'til our throats give out.
Forever hand in hand.
