19. The Two of Us Far Apart

Author-nim's P.O.V.

"Hi Jin, honey.. Did you miss me?!"

"Y-yoongi.. how d-did you-"

Yoongi pulled Jin for a hug and silently cried against his neck. Jin, still in shock, just stayed stiff in front of his husband. He saw two other men in front of the apartment, staring at them standing by a van, waiting.

Then Yoongi pulled back and stared at Jin, "I'm so glad to know you're alive, hun." He smiled at Jin, but then suddenly turned into a smirk.

"But I'm quite disappointed in you, Jin. You've been a very naughty little bitch. Let's go!" Yoongi pulled Jin by the hand and dragged him outside.

Jin tried to resist but then Yoongi whispered to his face, "Stop it. Those men right there are from the Korean embassy, and if you make a scene, I swear I'll have your asshole boyfriend arrested, I'll make you both suffer and you won't ever see Soobin again! You know I don't make empty threats, so don't fucking mess with me!!"

Jin just cried and couldn't think straight as he followed his husband into the van.

The whole travel to the embassy was quiet. Jin is still crying, trying to find a way to at least let Taehyung know where he is. He is hoping he can speak to either of the consular officers and let them know that there is another one Korean left in that house.

Jin is also trying to figure out how Yoongi knew about him and Taehyung being together. He knows Yeonjun has informed the embassy that they are there but he's confused as to why only Yoongi is here and he seemed to have an idea of what's between him and Taehyung.

The moment they arrived into the embassy, Jin was interviewed briefly by the consul of what happened, how he was rescued and how many days it has been. They checked his condition too, if he was in good health. And they also asked if there are other survivors.

"Yes, there is another one left in that place. Please come back for him!"

Yoongi glared at Jin, which the latter ignored. He knows it's going to piss Yoongi off, but it's the least he can do for Taehyung.

"Ok, we'll take note of that Sir. Now, here are your papers so you can return home." The consul said.

In the airplane.

Jin feeling so tired, rested his head on his seat and sighed deeply. He can't believe that in just in a snap, he took off in an airplane back to Seoul, but not to his expectation that he'll be back alone, without Taehyung by his side.

His worries just keep coming thru his thoughts when he felt Yoongi held his hand.

"I missed you Jin." His face is stern, yet calm. "Soobin will be very happy if he sees you. He loves you dearly, you know that. And I love you too, so much. Please don't do whatever it is you're thinking, hmm?"

Jin's conscience is consuming him. He can't say anything, so he just cried in front of Yoongi as the latter tightened his grip on Jin's hand. Then he nestled his head and rested on Jin's shoulders which the latter couldn't refuse anymore.

It is almost midnight when Jin and Yoongi arrived home. Jin is feeling nostalgic now that he's back home, but worries for Taehyung still didn't leave his chest.
