It was the next day after working last night, y/n was doing her hair and makeup; once the finishing touches were placed, she grabbed her hat placing it on her head and pulling the net veil over her face to go outside to town for an errand run and to get some fresh air.
Feeling the sun on her face felt nice as she walked the streets of the small town, it was just as lively in daytime like night less chaotic though; she stopped by the fabric shop picking out some new colors for herself and the girls since she was also in charge of making outfits for them to lure in new customers; she enjoyed it. After she finished getting that on deliver to the tavern she walked over at the docks, enjoying the sound of the sea waves going back and forth the gentle wind blowing pass her skin it made her smile warmly at the calmer times in her life living by the ocean dreaming of adventures.
She didn't know that as she was watching the ocean moving and shining against the sun, she caught the eye of Kid once more who's ship is a few feet away from where she stood; Kid stood on deck his arms crossed watching her stand there; the memories of last night of her dancing and singing still played in his mind while he watched her, he slightly had an annoyed look on his face but he always did but this one was different in his mind he was wondering why it bothered him when he saw her why she stirred things inside of him he thought he couldn't feel for a long time.
"Why don't you talk to her?" Killer's voice broke his concentration as Killer leaned against the railing of the ship looking forward.
"Why?" was all Kid asked annoyed at the thought of doing something like that, which seemed like a waste of time to him
"Your loss" Killer said with a shrug before standing straight once more and returning to what he was doing before leaving Kid to stand there alone.
Kid just let out a sigh before returning to look towards where she stood only to feel himself freeze when he saw her eyes looking right at him; a small smile came to her lips before turning away to return to the tavern before her shift started but it annoyed Kid greatly to why she was bothering him so much and no one else had that effect on him before in his life he wondered why it was her and only her.
