[okay I really think some of you need to think about it in Dracos mind before you get mad at him for this chapter. Remember, the blonde Barbie doll he calls a father only taught him sex, no feelings.

But this chapter is pretty cute at the end-]

"Course."

Ariella went wide eyed', her face face scrunching up in regret.

Had she really said that? Did those words actually come out of her mouth? Even if they did, she didn't seem to understand why it was such a big deal. But she didn't know what Draco had to go through, or even if he went through anything at all.

Because Ariella certainly did- but when she was younger, below eight years old, she loved her brother. She loved him so much, until Adrian actually started to punish her by touching her in places she didn't want to be touched. But before that, her heart was so full of love, so full of joy and hope that she didn't think anything could take it away.

But with Draco, it was completely different.

Yes, his heart was full of love at one point. It was happy when he was under the age of ten, his mother still reading him stories at night to go to sleep, with a stuffed animal near his side. It was happy when his father cooked him meals, or giving Narcissa hugs in front of Draco to show how much he loved Dracos mother.

It was all a lie, Draco figured out. The different between Ariella and Draco was that she still had a little hope for love, a little tiny place in her heart for it. But Draco, didnt. He didn't even like the mere thought of someone telling him he loved them, not even his mother. Which is why he had such a time with Ariella, because she was slowly making her way into his heart and he hated it.

Hated it with everything he had because of how happy it made him.

So of course he was on edge with hearing her say that. It was a simple phrase, but it was one that made him want to throw everything in this kitchen, hearing glass shatter and the wood chip. He wanted to break things, wanted to feel the power he had when the objects broke within his strength.

Ariella felt her throat closing in on her, before she cleared it and watching him back all the way away from her until he hit the other counter. It was dead silent, his eyes still on the ground with an upset look on her face.

Ouch.

She pushed herself off the counter, turning her back towards him, "I'm gonna- go." She mumbled under her breath, her eyes nearly welling up with tears. She didn't know if it hurt her feelings, or because she was carrying his child right now.

He cleared his throat too, "Yeah. Do you- do you mind sleeping in the guest bedroom tonight?" He didn't think he could sleep with her tonight, not when he heard that one word come out of her mouth that he was never taught. Love came as a normal emotion but with everything his father put him through, he needed to be taught how to love in the process.
