Ethan's pov

During class me and benny were trying to cook noodles in a pot, I got a text from rory saying he needed to speak with me about mikayla in the hallway so I decided to go to the bathroom and I walked up to rory who was drinking an icy that looked alot like blood

" Hey you wanted to talk to me about mikayla...because like I said she's all yours unless you give me permission " I said nervously

" Dude, Sarah just warned me that mikayla is a fifth generation vampire who's after your blood...but I talked to mikayla and she said it's over with and she really really likes you alot " rory said as I kinda smiled forgetting about the vampire part

The first girl that I liked was Sarah from freshman year and now that we're almost seniors I leveled up like in a video game and I'm interested in a new girl who's also interested in me, but it would be best if I start our relationship off with friendship and deal with Sarah first because things are off at a rough patch with her

" Where's Sarah? " I asked as rory pointed towards the vending machines

I headed towards the vending machines and seen Sarah munching down on junk food and the vending machine was on the floor along with broken shards of glass and bars bent out of shape

" Sarah...are you okay? " I asked as her eyes were wide open

" No, mikayla has me freaked out ever since she tried to stab me with a stake in the grave yard and threatened me over our phonecall " Sarah said as I sounded shocked

" Wait....mikayla never had a phone call with you, and she went to visit her sick grandmother " I said as Sarah laughed and showed me her recent phone call

" Mikayla is evil...or she just feels jealous " Sarah said

" Mikayla isn't like that...I'm sure she was probably just trying to scare you or let you know something else " I said as Sarah got confused

" Let me know what? " Sarah said placing popcorn in her mouth

" Mikayla is my...new.....kinda.....girlfriend...I'm still working everything out but rory is not happy about it " I said as Sarah crush an apple in her hand

" She's your new girlfriend...that's cool, um just a warning she's a vampire and a fifth generation and she's evil " Sarah said trying to warn me

" Yeah about that....I kinda don't care about it anymore, she told me she's changed and I believe her...I'm also inviting her over to dinner along with benny after school " I said as Sarah couldn't believe I wasn't angry

" How are you okay with this? " Sarah asked

" Maybe because she explained it to me already....Sarah you do get overdramatic sometimes " I said walking away

I walked away and bumped into mikayla as she hugged me and I hugged her back and we headed to our first period together but I couldn't help but keep thinking of what Sarah said about mikayla being a vampire, I checked my phone log and I had no recent calls and Sarah was blocked on my contact lists so after school I invited mikayla over for a family dinner and she accepted but I had no idea that that night Sarah would show up and ruin things

At home I was in a nice sweater vest and I got a knock on the door as I opened it mikayla who I'm gonna call Kayla for short now walked in she was wearing dark skinny jeans and some sneakers that she made and a crop top with a leather jacket over top, when benny came into the living room Kayla folded her arms while smiling with her brow lifting up

" Why is she here? " Benny asks

" Ethan invited me....do you have a problem with that? " Kayla said
