Sarah's pov
At the graveyard me and benny were putting flowers on Ethan's grave and we walked home and i felt Ethan's presence " sarah " i heard someone whisper in my ear so i turned and looked but there was no one and i walked to Ethan's house...at school benny was cleaning out Ethan's locker and putting his stuff in a box and i was bummed out about ethan being gone
" Where's alex? " I asked benny
" Probably with rory since there dating now " benny said as i rolled my eyes
" Shes supposed to help me study " i said as someone whisper in Benny's ear " benny " and benny thought i mumbled something
" What? " Benny asked me as i looked at him
" What?? " I said confused
" You said something " benny said
" No i didnt " i said as benny shook it off
We walked to class and during class i started hearing things and i thought i was seeing ethan in the hallways but benny said i was going crazy...during lunch i heard someone whisper in my ear again " sarah " and i walked to ethans house with benny
" Okay have you been hearing someone whisper in your ear?? " I asked benny as he nodded
" You think its ethan? " I asked benny as benny nodded
" Its been a month " benny said as i smirked
" Yeah, but hes still our friend " i said as benny smiled
" Ethan's not gonna come back " benny said
" Then will tell him we dont want him to " i said smiling
" Okay " benny said as we went outside and the whispers got louder " benny " " sarah " " benny " " sarah " the whispers said getting closer as we looked around and heard small footsteps and we looked and seen ethan slowly walking up to us and stopped as we smiled at him
" Ethan? " I asked as he smiled and placed his hands in his pockets
" Hey, i came to see you guys...mikayla helped me and im not a fledgling anymore " ethan said but he didnt seem okay
" Are you okay? You seem alittle weird " i asked ethan who scoffed and slowly walked around
" You know being in the limbo changes you... maybe thats why mikayla was so mean " ethan said as he walked around
" Ethan? Whats wrong with you? " I asked him
" Im coming back....but with mikayla...i need benny to cast a spell " ethan said but his voice was wobbly
" Okay " benny said but I wasn't sure about it because ethan was acting weird and the limbo can make you act weird but benny casted a spell and ethan disappeared
" What'd you do? " I asked benny
" I dont know " benny said confused looking around
We walked into Ethan's house and ethan was standing in the living room confused and we walked up to him as i lightly touched his shoulders as he looked at me and kinda smiled
" Ethan?? " I asked him
" Hi " ethan said lightly with a smile as we hugged and he hugged benny and we sat down and talked with him
" Why didnt you come back? " I asked ethan who drank some tea
" I wanted to but i also didnt...i liked being with mikayla but the limbo was changing her and me..." Ethan said as benny was confused
" Dude, what happened with you and mikayla at the graveyard? " Benny asked ethan
" I got the note and then i went to the graveyard and sat on the bench " ethan said
Flashback
Me and mikayla sat on the bench and talked and i didnt know if i could trust her so i swung my dagger at her and she dodged it and her eyes glowed yellow as she hissed at me and got up as i got up and kept trying to hit her with my dagger but she kept dodging it and she had to catch her breath so i tried to hit her with the dagger again and she pushed my hand away from her face i dropped my dagger and grabbed my wrist and groaned in pain as kinda fell to my knees and she had jaw dropped
" Ethan, are you okay? " Mikayla asked me as i groaned in pain alittle and looked at wrist and seen alittle blood so i thought i accidentally cut myself with the dagger and i got up
" Y-yeah, what do you want? " I asked her as i could feel venom flowing through my veins but shook it off
" I want us to get back together but instead you try to stab me with your dagger? " Mikayla said nodding
" Sorry " i said
" Thanks for talking...i really like you " mikayla said as she grabbed my shoulders and kissed me as i kissed her back and she kinda gave me tongue as we pulled away
" I gotta go " i said but she grabbed my arm
" I think i accidentally bit you...you should clean it " mikayla said as i shook it off
" See ya " i said as i walked home and went into my room and took the first aid kit and grabbed a wet napkin and cleaned the blood off my wrist as i groaned in pain and threw the napkin in the trash as i looked at the bite mark
" No, no, no,no,no " i said leaning against my desk and crying as i felt the venom flow through my veins and i took some alcohol and cleaned the wound and layed in bed and cried myself to sleep
End of flashback
" Im sorry, i should have talked to you about it " ethan said as benny was confused
" I could have sucked out the venom..." I said as ethan smiled
" Yeah " ethan said
" We care about you ethan " i said as he smirked and drank more tea
" Wheres mikayla? " Benny asked
" Shes at her house " ethan said as i was confused
" I gotta go " ethan said going upstairs and laying in his bed as he slowly passed out and i put his dish in the sink and sat in the living room
