Chapter 37

For the nth time, Carson looked at her reflection in the mirror. The woman she's seeing is a different Carson. 

She's glowing. 

To think that she's not even wearing any makeup, except for a thin powder and a light lipstick. But other than that, wala na. Her cheeks are naturally rosy, and her eyes were sparkling. Kung makikita lang sya ni Emma ngayon, malamang hindi na naman sya nito titigilan sa pang-aasar. She's obviously in love. That and the dress Theo gave her is enough to make her feel beautiful.

The door of the master bedroom opened. Carson heard his footsteps towards the walk-in closet she's in. Seconds later, Theo's reflection from the full-length mirror shows up as he stood behind her. He looks dazzling with his white crisp button-down shirt and black pants. Agad na nakarating sa pang-amoy ng dalaga ang pabango nito.

Goodness, pabango pa lang gwapo na! Samahan pa ng gwapong mukha, total package! Ano pa ba ang mahihiling nya?

"I hope I'm the reason of that smile." He said, encircling his arms around her small waist. "You look absolutely breathtaking, love." He murmured against her right ear.

He then gave her exposed shoulder blades a peck saka ito nag-angat ng tingin. Their eyes met in the mirror. She can see the adoration in his eyes.

No doubt, dahil maging si Carson ay hindi mapigilang humanga sa damit na suot nya. It's a satin dress in champagne color with low cut neckline. Tanging manipis na strap lang ang naghuhugpong sa damit na iyon which gave her a sultry look. The fabric hugs her perfectly and accentuated her creamy skin. Sayang nga lang at wala iyong slit. But nevertheless, she can still move comfortably with the dress.

"Thank you, I love the dress. In fairness sa taste mo ha." Tudyo nya dito.

Carson turned around so she could face him. Marahan nyang pinadaanan ng palad ang malapad na dibdib ng nobyo. He looks handsome. And that chest and biceps, goodness! She couldn't believe she was able to feel those with her bare hands last night. Hindi lang isang beses, countless of times pa!

Pinigil nya ang hagikhik dahil sa naisip. Inayos nya pa ang kwelyo ng dress shirt nito saka tumingin ng diretso sa mga mata ni Theo.

"Oh please, don't give me that look." He said chuckling.

"What? I'm not doing anything." Painosenteng wika ng dalaga.

He just shook his head and gave her a peck on the lips before unwrapping his arms around her. "Come on, we have to go. Baka hindi na tayo makaalis nyan."

She'll love that! She would love to snuggle close to him, inhale his masculine scent and shower him kisses.

But of course, she would also love to go on a date with him. Lalo na at alam nyang pinag-effort-an iyon ni Theo. Feeling nya ang ganda ganda nya lalo.

Hindi alam ni Carson kung saan sila pupunta. She just let Theo drive. Who would have thought na may itinatago din palang kasweetan ang isang Theo Montillano? Pagdating pa lang nila kanina sa sasakyan, may iniabot na itong bouquet ng yellow roses sa kanya. And all throughout the drive, hawak ng nobyo ang kamay nya. From time to time, he will kiss the back of her hand. Kahit niloloko na nya itong pawisan na ang kamay nya, hindi pa rin bumitaw. It was a simple gesture, but it made her heart flutter.

An hour later, pumasok na sila sa vicinity ng kilalang hotel sa QC. Carson raised her eyebrow to Theo as he maneuvers the car to the vertical parking.
