"Grabe, you have these, but you never even bothered watching one. I can't believe you!"
Natawa lang si Theo sa sinabi ng dalaga habang abala ito sa pagpili sa stack ng DVDs nya.
"I didn't buy any of those DVDs. Those were all gifts from friends and from my parents."
"For sure we have the same goal. Para matuto ka manuod ng pelikula. Look at these! These are gems! Oh My God!"
"We'll it's never too late to start. That's why we're here."
"And it all thanks to me."
He chuckled again.
Hindi lang talaga sya nasanay na manuod ng pelikula. But he remembers his teenage self at a movie house in New York. He was with Bianca, who was by the way, hates movies. Sa tagal nila magkasama, siguro nahawaan na rin sya nito sa mga ayaw at gustong gawin. He loves his time alone, yes. Pero hindi naman nya gustong pumasok mag-isa sa sinehan para manuod ng mga usong palabas. Besides, that time, mas nakakatawag sa pansin nya ang mga documentaries. Lalo na noong nagsimula na sya magtraining para sa kompanya nila. Kailangan nyang pagtuunan ng pansin ang mga shows on how to do better business.
"Any genre you have in mind?" Carson asked. "Action, Drama, Romance...?"
"What's your favorite genre?"
"Romantic-Comedy syempre. Pero 'wag na yun. Baka ma-bore ka at makornihan. Ang goal natin today, dapat matapos mo ang movie. Para naman sulit ang first time mo ng panunuod."
He shrugged. "You're going to watch, too. It's important that you'll enjoy the show as I do."
"Sure ka ba? Baka tulugan mo lang eh."
"Just pick one, Carson."
"Meron na, ano ka ba?" she said as she shows the DVD. "All-time favorite. Notting Hill. Classic. I'm sure you'll love this."
"Let's see." Nangingiting kinuha nya ang DVD mula sa dalaga at saka isinalang sa player.
Pumwesto naman agad ang dalaga kama na naroon. It was a huge grey bed with a lot of soft and fluffy pillows.
Oops! Ang larawang ito ay hindi sumusunod sa aming mga alituntunin sa nilalaman. Upang magpatuloy sa pag-publish, subukan itong alisin o mag-upload ng bago.
"I like this bed. Papalitan ko nga yung lazy boy sa movie room namin sa bahay. Mas maganda yung ganito." She said.
"Yeah. I can also use this as one of the spare rooms."
Kumpleto na rin kasi ang kwartong iyon. Meron na rin bathroom doon. Kaya in case na magkaroon ng bisita, pwede nya ng ipagamit ang movie room. But Theo's not sure when will it going to happen. Sa ngayon kasi, mas gusto nyang sya lang ang tao doon sa bahay nya.
He picked up the remote control and turned off the lights. Tanging ang malaking TV lang ang nagbibigay ng liwanag sa buong kwarto.
"Ayan na! Hurry, pwesto ka na dito. Promise, you'll love this movie."
