She looked at him. His eyes were full of tears, smiling and waiting for her answer. Halo-halo na ang nararamdaman ni Carson. Hindi na nya alam kung aling emosyon ang mas nangingibabaw. But one thing's for sure - she couldn't contain her happiness.

Is he really asking her to marry him? Ibig sabihin, gaya nya ay gusto rin sya nito makasama habang-buhay.

It feels unreal and she had to reach him just to make sure he's really there in front of her. She caressed his face and chuckled softly when she felt his stubbles against her palm.

"Kahit ba hindi ako masyadong magaling magluto? I can only cook your favorite dish, nothing more." she asked. It was a stupid question, but she wants to ask him to make sure. Baka mamaya prank lang pala ito.

He chuckled and nodded. "It doesn't matter. I'll cook for you every day. I'll make you laugh every day. I'll cry with you. I'll cuddle you to sleep. I'll do everything for you. Just love me every day."

Tuloy tuloy ang pag-agos ng luha ng dalaga sa narinig. She couldn't take it anymore.

Umalis sya mula sa pagkakaupo at lumapit sa binata para yakapin ito ng mahigpit.

"Yes, love. I will marry you." She whispered on his ear.

She heard him chuckled in between his sobs. Kumalas sya dito at pinahid ang luha sa mga mata ni Theo. Kapagkuwa'y kinuha nito ang isang kamay nya. Mula sa itim na kahon, inalis ng binata ang singsing at marahang sinuot sa kanyang palasingsingan.

The ring fits her perfectly. Muling kuminang ang malaking bato noon ng tamaan ng liwanag.

Theo held her face before claiming her lips. He hugged her warmly.

"Thank you, mahal ko." He said as he kissed the top of her head.

She knew he's as happy as her. She hugged her back, wala na syang pakialam kung pareho silang nakaluhod sa deck ng restaurant. They were lost in their own world.

Napabalik lang sila sa kasalukuyan nang marinig ang ilang palakpak mula sa paligid. Kumalas sila ng yakap at napalingon. The restaurant's staff were there and congratulating them happily.

She didn't know there were people around them and watching them the whole time.

Napatawa na lang ang dalaga sa realization na iyon. Naunang tumayo si Theo saka sya inalalayan din na tumayo. Ipinaikot nito ang kamay sa baywang nya.

Maya-maya ay lumapit ang isang lalaki sa kanila para bumati. Agad na kinamayan ito ni Theo at nagpasalamat. Ganoon din ang ginawa ng dalaga.

Doon lumapit ang isa pang staff na may dalang bouquet ng yellow roses.

"Please accept these flowers, madam. This is from the resort's management. Congratulations again."

"Thank you so much!"

Mukhang planado na ang proposal na iyon at hindi man lang nya nahalata.

Just when she thought the surprise ends there, she's wrong. Nang makabalik sila sa villa ay may naghihintay na isa pang bouquet sa kama nila. It was a beautiful arrangement of yellow tulips.

Nilingon nya si Theo na nasa likuran nya. She knew it was from him.

Kinuha nya ang bouquet sa ibaba ng kama saka hinarap ang binata.

"Really, how many surprises did you prepare? I should be the one surprising you. It's your birthday, remember?"

He walked to her and gave her a hug before kissing the top of her head.
