I was walking back from the cafe to my office. I was crossing the road when I see someone. Someone I hadn't seen in years.

I ran as fast as I could to the hospital. Minghao had to be alright. I was too afraid to think about the alternative. I arrive out of breath and run straight to the receptionist.

"He is the O.R. Third floor." I give her a quick thanks before running there. I see that the surgery is still going on. While waiting, I decide to give our friend group the update.
