CHAPTER 17

Hoseok was dumbfounded.

He looked at Taehyung with wide eyes and mouth open but no words seemed to come out of his mouth.

"Wow, that expression is a bit exaggerated than what I expected."

"What were you even expecting?"

"Ofcourse a little bit of surprise but not that much. It's not a big deal."

"Are you even listening to yourself?"

"Yes, I did now and it sounded stupid. What was I even thinking..We can never be together."

Taehyung gave out a frustrated sigh and held his head in his hands. Hoseok couldn't help but feel sorry about him.

He cautiously walked towards him and made him sit down on one of the chairs in the room.

"Now, you want to tell me the whole story?"

Jungkook's POV-
Yoongi hyung just dragged me out of the room without any information. Once we were out, he let me go and I looked at him in bewilderment.

"Hyung, care to explain what just happened?"

Yoongi looked at him and sighed.

"I just needed a way to get out of there."

"And why is that?"

"Because he was lying and we needed the truth.."

Jungkook gave a confused look.

"Still not getting your point.."

"He was lying and Hoseok had a plan. Taehyung wouldn't have talked in front of me or you, so I had to get us out of there. That's why all this. I hope Hoseok is safe.."

But Jungkook had stopped listening a long time ago. The only words he heard were lying and truth.

*What if he really tells Hoseok hyung, everything.. he's so dumb like that..oh my god..*

He started panicking and walked a little far from Yoongi to keep away suspicions.

*Yoongi hyung is definitely going to kill me..*

Hoseok looked at Taehyung with wide eyes, not because he was surprised but because he couldn't believe the guy in front of him could love someone this much, let alone his so-called enemy.

"So let me get this straight. You guys have been meeting up secretly?? For how long?"

Taehyung looked at Hoseok and gave a sad smile.

"For about almost a year now. But then suddenly, Jungkook stopped responding to my texts or calls. And then I heard about the gunshot incident between Seokjin hyung and Yoongi. After that I thought Jungkook might blame me even more and think that I also had a hand in this. So I had to do something..."

"You really took a big risk coming here, just like that..but you can't keep this hidden for long.."

"Yeah, I know. I think I'll just forget about him and move on. I am sure I'll find someone who's easier to love."

"But then, would you love that person the same? As you do now? With Jungkook?"

Teahyung looked up at Hoseok with a confused expression on his face.

"I don't really have a choice here. I can't convince my hyung and Jungkook can't convince his. We can't even talk about this, let alone convince. So yeah, it better if I just leave it and move on. It'll hurt like hell but it'll be alright, I guess."

Hoseok looked at Taehyung amd sighed after hearing his words.

"I came to know very recently that if you don't fight for things, you will never get them. Don't expect them to come to you. You have to take them on your own. And if you really love Jungkook, you'd fight for him."

"Just like how you fought for Yoongi?"

Hoseok looked surprised but shook his head.

"I haven't, yet. But I will if one day I really have to.."

Taehyung looked at Hoseok and gave him a small smile. Hoseok smiled back and patted his back. Taehyung got up to leave but turned back before he could walk out of the door.

"Yoongi is really lucky to have you love him.."

Hoseok looked up at him with a shocked expression.

"How did you--?"

"Your eyes said it all..."

With that, he walked out, leaving a shocked Hoseok in the room. After a while, Yoongi and Jungkook came in and Yoongi rushed towards Hoseok, checking him for any wounds or anything out of place.

"Are you okay? What happened? Did he say something? Did he do something to you??"

Yoongi kept on rambling but Hoseok cut him off with a soft kiss. Yoongi was stunned but he kissed back, anyway.

Before anyone could say anything further, Yoongi's phone rang. This time, it really was Jimin and he needed help.

Yoongi gave out a frustrated sigh and looked at Hoseok.

"I have to go..will you be okay by yourself the whole day??"

Hoseok saw his worried expression and stroked his cheek.

"I'll be fine. You go. I'll see you at night."

"Okay. And please do one thing for me?"

"Sure, what is it?"

"If you are going to go out for anything, please take someone with you?"

Hoseok looked at Yoongi, dumbfounded.

"Umm okay sure??"

"Promise me.."
"Okay, okay..I promise. I'll take someone with me if I go out."

"Good."

With that, Yoongi and Jungkook left but before that, Yoongi turned around and gave Hoseok a wide smile.

Hoseok couldn't help but smile back.
