CHAPTER 56

JUNGKOOK's P.O.V.

"Okay." I heard Mae Noon muttered on my chest. I tensed up when I heard her answer. "What did you say?" I asked as I pulled her away from me so that I can look at her in the eyes. Her eyes are glistening with tears. "You are right. Maybe, it's about time for me to stop running away from my feelings for you." I can feel the end of my lips curling up when I heard Mae Noona's statement. "I am also tired of this cat and mouse chase. Can you forgive me for all the things that I have done? Will you forgive me for always leaving you hanging and hurting you? Would you still want to be with me?" She asked with sadness in her eyes.

I reached out to cup her face with both of my hands before I gave her an innocent peck on her lips as my answer. I saw her eyes went wide in surprise while her cheeks turned red. "Y..yah!" She muttered before she craned her neck probably checking if someone saw us. "Relax." I muttered as I put my arm around her. "What if those sasaeng saw us?" She asked worriedly. I stared at her for a minute, studying her reaction before I asked. "And so what if they saw us? Are you scared?" She stared at me for a second and nodded which made me sigh. "Don't be. I am here. I will protect you. No matter what." I muttered. I saw her pout. "But what if they will hurt you. How can I protect you?" She asked in a whisper as she bow her head. I put my finger in her chin and make her look at me. "I can protect myself. Don't worry too much. Just stay by my side and never ever leave without my permission. Do you understand?" I asked. "Trust me. Okay?" I held her hand and brought it to my lips while I look deep into her eyes. She made a sigh before she nodded her head in agreement.

"So what do we do now?" She asked while looking around the vicinity probably checking if their are some sasaeng around us. "For now, I think we need to get back to the hotel and eat." I suggested. "No! We can not go to the hotel and eat their casually. I am sure those sasaengs are waiting there already." She replied seriously. "We need to get out of here as soon as possible." I checked the time on my watch and it says its already 7:00 in the evening. "But it's already late. We can probably take the first flight tomorrow morning." I suggested. She looked at me with a knotted forehead while biting her lips probably thinking if she will go with my suggestion or not.

"So you are going back to Korea tomorrow?" She asked. I smiled at her and touched her head. "No. Not yet. We will have a concert in 3 days so I guess I will just have to wait for them in Manila." I answered. "Where will you stay?" She asked curiously. I raised my eyebrow at her and wondered why she keeps on asking those questions. "Well, in a hotel near the concert arena, of course." I answered. She avoided my eyes and started fidgeting with her fingers. "Is there something wrong?" I asked worriedly. "Ahm, I am wondering if youwanttogohomewithmeandmeetmyparents?" I stare at her for a while trying to understand what she said.  "I'm sorry. I ddin't quite catch that. What did you say?" I asked after unable to figure out the last part. She looked at me and sighed. "Nevermind." She answered before she started walking away. 

I immediately took huge steps to keep up with her. "Noona, what did you say?" I asked again but she simply shook her head. "If you are not gonna tell me. I am going to kiss you again. Right here. Right now." I threatened. She stopped walking and looked at me with her big brown eyes while her mouth slightly open. "You wouldn't dare." She hissed. I smirk. "Are you daring me?" I asked. Her expression immediately changed as she shook her head. "I will tell you later, when we get back to the hotel." She answered before she continued walking. I raised my eyebrows at her. I thought she said that we are not going back to the hotel. 

"We are going back to the hotel and stay in our own rooms till we leave tomorrow morning." She stated as if reading my mind. I pouted as I followed her. We just back together and she wants us to be separated again.  "Can't we at least eat together? There are so many things I want us to talk about." She looked at me and shook her head. "We can not let those sasaengs spread rumors about you." I closed my eyes and sighed. Here we go again.
