CHAPTER 27

JUNG KOOK's P.O.V.

"Jung Kook-ssi, here have some drinks too!" One of the stylist Noona is handing me a glass of beer. I was about to grab it when a hand out of nowhere took it. I just gaped at Mae Noona who was drinking the beer like water. My brows are now furrowed. I don't like where this is going. I tried to take it from her but she avoided my hand and continued drinking the contents of the glass. Everyone on the table turned quiet as we watch her devour the alcohol. "Noona," I whispered but she didn't stop until the glass was empty. Mae Noona put the empty glass down on the table this time with a pensive facial expression. I wonder what is going on on her mind right now.

"Mae, you should take it slow. We still have a lot of time." Dr. Eun Woo leaned over the table and handed Mae Noona a glass of water with a sweet smile on his lips that make every girls on the table swoon over. Mae Noona smiled at him and took the glass of water from his hand and drank the water like she did on that beer. After emptying the glass she let out a loud burp that made everyone on our table break out in laughter except me. "Are you okay, Noona?" I asked with a worried expression but again she ignored me like I am not there. I am starting to feel annoyed by her cold treatment. What did I do wrong to deserve such treatment? 

"Mae, you have some sauce on your lips." I heard Dr. Eun Woo commented and picked up a tissue. I look at Noona and true there is some sauce at the corner of her lips. I immediately wiped it away using my thumb and sucked it which made everyone on the table gasp. I looked at everyone and they look so shocked. I looked at Mae Noona and she is not moving. What? Did I do something wrong? 

"Noona?" I poked her cheek to check if she is still alive. She looked at me with wide eyes before she suddenly stood up and was about to walk away but I grabbed her hand to stop her. "Where are you going? I am coming with you." I announced. Her brows furrowed before she removed my hand and ran away. "Wait! Noona!" I was about to follow her but Dr. Eun Woo blocked my path with a weird smile on her lips. What is his problem?

"Don't worry, Jungkook-ssi. I will take care of Mae. You can go back to the other members and have fun and besides Mae is not your responsibility." His friendly demeanor suddenly changed when he said the last statement. I thought he was done talking but he suddenly came closer to me and whispered. "Be careful, Jungkook-ssi. Many eyes are watching. You don't want to create another scandal right?" I froze as I looked around and true to his words a lot of the staff are watching us right now. I felt him pat my shoulders before he stepped away from me with a smirk on his lips. I clenched my fist as I watch him leave because I have no choice. I don't want Mae Noona to get hurt because of me.

"Ahm, excuse me but I need to go back to the members." I excused myself from the other staff's table  but instead of going to Namjoon hyung's table. I went to the bathroom to relax because I feel so irritated at the moment. I wonder where Mae Noona and that doctor went to. I really hope that Mae Noona is fine. I was brought out of my reverie with the loud knock on the door. I opened it up and saw Hobeom hyung being restless.

"Jung Kook-ah, are you done? Can you please get out. I need....uh.. I need to use the bathroom." But before I could even respond he already pulled me out and locked the door. I guess it was urgent. And soon after, I heard loud noises coming from inside. I scrunched my nose in disgust and shook my head as I walked back to our table. I was on my way back when I noticed that Mae Noona and that guy is still not on their table. I took my steps hurriedly and approached our head stylist to ask there whereabouts.

"Noona, Where is Dr. Eun Woo and Mae Noona? Haven't they returned yet?" She looked at me with blank expression before she looked at everyone on their table. "Oh, he already went home, saying he still has some appointment for tonight." My brows formed a knot when one of the female staff spoke. Are they only talking about Dr. Eun Woo?
