CHAPTER 28

JUNG KOOK's P.O.V.

The image of Dr.  Eunwoo and Mae Noona that I saw earlier keeps on lingering on my mind and it pisses me off. I can't explain what I am feeling at the moment because this never happened to me before.

"Jung Kook-ah, are you alright?" I heard Jin-hyung asked but I ignored him as I drank the glass of beer in front of me. "Yah! Jung Kook-ah! Slow Down!" Jin-hyung yelled but I ignored him. I look at the table in front of us and I noticed that she is back on her seat but that doctor is gone. Good riddance! I smirked unconsciously. I was about to get up to join her but I saw her stood up again with her bag in hand and left. I was about to follow her but then Jin-hyung stopped me. "Where are you going again?" He asked and when I didn't answer he followed where my eyes are. "Hyung, please let go. I need to talk to her." I asked nicely but his grip got only tighter. "Jung Kook-ah, please leave her alone, for now." I looked at Jin-hyung incredulously as I slumped on the chair beside him. "She has a lot on her mind and I don't think you can help. You will just confuse her more." I frowned. "Hyung, you already know I like her-." I explained it to him like it's the most obvious thing but he cut me off. 

"I know, and, so what? What will you do? In your position right now, you will only hurt her and yourself." I know what Jin-hyung is trying to say and I get it. I understand it fully well, but then how can I stopped this feeling when every time I see her it only gets stronger. I just want to talk to her and be next to her all the time. I sulked on my seat. Why is everything so complicated and hard? 

I just kept on drinking hoping that with the help of alcohol my mind could be clearer. After the dinner party, I dropped by a nearby convenience store to buy more beer and took it to my room. I was on my fifth can when my curiosity about Dr Eunwoo and Mae Noona's relationship can't be held any longer. Are they already a couple or they are still at the flirting stage? I can't stop thinking about her. I really want to talk to her and clarify things. I want answers once and for all. I messaged one of our managers if he knows what Mae Noona's room number is. After a few negotiations, he finally gave it to me. And before I knew it, I am already standing in front of room 202.

I knocked three times but there was no response. Why is she not responding? Is she already asleep? Or is there someone else in her room? The thought of her spending the night with another man is making my blood boil. No! That can't be! I won't let that happen. "Noona!" I tried calling for her as I kept on knocking. "Noona please open the door." I pleaded as I put my head on the door and closed my eyes. I am feeling a little dizzy.

I felt the door beside me opened and there emerged a guy probably in his fifty's looking irritated with the ruckus I am making. I bowed in apology. He looked at me and clicked his tongue in disapproval before he spoke. "Whoever you are, please open the door. People need some sleep you know? If you won't fix this. I will call security." He threatened. I watched him get inside his room when I felt someone grabbed my arm and pulled me.

"What are you doing here? Don't you know that you are disturbing the neighbors?" I looked at the woman I was looking for pulling me inside her suite. She looks irritated but she still looks cute in her pajamas and messy hair. A small smile escaped my lips as I watch her small back. She made me sit in her couch. As soon as I felt my back felt the sofa I leaned on it and looked at the ceiling as dizziness came over me. I closed my eyes momentarily hoping the dizziness would go away. I need to get a grip because I still need to talk to Mae Noona.

I felt something soft and warm landed on my naked torso. I looked down and saw that it's a shirt. "Jung Kook-ssi, you are drunk. Please go back to your room." She muttered while looking at my face with her brows furrowed. I looked at her and saw how her eyes drifted towards my body before she looked away. I noticed a blush appeared on her cheeks. I guess she is affected by my presence. "You... you need to go. I still need to sleep." She stammered as she hurriedly walked towards her bed clearly avoiding me but I won't let her.
