CHAPTER 14

MAE's P.O.V.

It's been a month since the incident at the infirmary with Jungkook happened and since then I never met him again even though we still work for the same company. The moment he left me in that room, I felt instant regret. I should've been nicer in driving him away.  I wonder how he is right now.

Clap! Clap! Clap!

I was pulled out from my reverie when I heard those loud claps coming from our supervisor. "Guys, I know you are all tired so how about a little relaxation time tonight? We've stressing for a whole month now. Let's take some break. How about a dinner party?" Miss Areum asked excitedly as she roam her eyes around before she looked at her wristwatch. "Yeah!" All of the people in our area cheered except for me and the girl sitting next to me.

I am clueless and so I asked Imani, who is one of Big Hit Entertainment's brilliant writers, and who happened to be one of my friends now. "Imani, what is Miss Areum saying?"I asked cluelessly. She sighed and slumped in her seat. "It's a dinner party, also known as drinking session." She answered uninterestedly. "Oh I see." I nodded as I sat back down while massaging my temples. I am not fond of drinking and I also found out that I have poor alcohol tolerance so now I am thinking if I can escape. 

"So, are you going?" I asked Imani whos is now back to working on her computer. "Yes, I don't have a choice. It's like a tradition. Everyone must go no matter what. Don't worry we can sneak out before the second round." She muttered while she was busily typing on her keyboard. My brows furrowed as I look at her curiously. "Second Round? How many rounds do they have?" I asked in a hush. Imani looked at me and shrugged as she go back to her computer typing away.

"It's only 7:00pm, we still have a lot of time. So, let's go!" Miss Areum excitedly picked up her bag while shaking her fist in the air. I noticed everyone else in the room started turning their computers off and packing their things. What is going on? 

I looked at Imani and she is doing exactly the same. A few seconds later she looked at me with raises eyebrows. "What are you doing? Why are you not moving?" She asked and that made me woke up. I guess I just have to follow them. I also turned my computer off and packed my things. 

I texted Jenni that, I will be home late since we will have a dinner party. She replied back asking what I was wearing and I said the usual, Jeans and Sweatshirt. She told me to go fix myself and apply make-up. It's a chance to socialize and find a decent guy so that finally I could get into a relationship. I just replied with a thumbs up emoticon without any plans of doing what she said. What is she even saying? She want me to hook up with random people I meet? That is not my thing! I shook my head in disagreement. While I was busy texting I didn't realize that the others are already gone except for Leo who's standing at the door.

"Where are the others?" I asked completely baffled. Was I that engrossed in texting that I didn't notice they were already gone? "They went ahead. Don't worry, we will follow. I know the address" He smiled at me. His eyes disappeared for a moment. Wait, did he wait for me? Aw! That is so sweet of him. I smiled back and nodded my head. "Okay, so should we walk or should we call a taxi?" I really have no idea where we were going.

"We can walk since it's really not that far plus we can exercise." The idea of exercise is really good since I haven't had one for a long time. My smile got wider with the thought. "Good, so let's go!" I cheered trying to ignore the throbbing pain in my head. 

We were walking down on the sidewalk in front of the building when a black Van stopped right in front of us and then the one by one, the members of BTS got out. 

"Noona!" Jin attacked me with a bear hug. "Waaah! I miss you. We still haven't talk, I am so sorry we were so busy these past few days." I froze with our sudden closeness. "How are you?" Jin asked without letting me go.
