CHAPTER 15

JUNG KOOK's P.O.V.

It's been a month since I saw her. We were so busy with the preparation for our comeback that even though we work on the same building, I wasn't able to see her since she works in a different department. I released a deep sigh as our van came to a halt in front of our building. One by one we got off the van. I felt like there is a hollow in my heart this past month. We are on our way from our Album Jacket Photoshoot to Big Hit Entertainment's building for a final meeting before our Official Comeback next week. The van parked and I was the first one to get out. As soon as I got off, I saw the woman who has been on my mind lately walking side by side with Leo hyung, one of our talented video editors. I was about to greet her when suddenly Jin hyung hugged her.

"Noona! Waaah! I miss you. We still haven't talk, I am so sorry we were so busy these past few days." I saw how Mae Noona froze. "How are you?" Jin hyung asked without letting her go. Seeing the discomfort on Mae Noona's face I moved and pulled Jin hyung by his collar away from her. I saw from the corner of my eyes that she looked at me but I didn't dare to look back because honestly I still feel uncomfortable especially after what happened that day in the infirmary.

"YAH YAH YAH! Let me go!" Jin hyung whined as he struggled to break free from me and so I let him go. He looked at me as if he was ready to spill some monologue but I immediately covered his mouth to silence him.

"So where are you going?" I heard Jimin hyung asked and that made me look at Leo hyung and Mae Noona because I myself is curious as well. "To dinner." Leo hyung answered casually as he looked fondly at Mae Noona. My brows furrowed. I have a strange feeling that Leo hyung likes Mae Noona. "Just the two of you, hyung?" Taehyung hyung asked with a weird smile while wiggling his eyebrows. I leaned in closer to hear Leo hyung's answer.

"I'm sorry but we have to go now." Leo hyung suddenly bowed and then he suddenly held Mae Noona's hand and dragged her with him. My brow automatically furrowed as I watch them walk away. Are they together now? But its only been a month since Mae Noona arrived.

"Ohhhh... I can smell romance in the air." Jin jokingly commented beside me while smiling like an idiot as he watch the two walk away. I suddenly felt pissed off. I took a deep breath and bit my lower lip. "No hyung. It's only your bad breathe I can smell in the air." I replied sarcastically before I walked out leaving them at the entrance of the building. "What happened to JK?" I heard Jin hyung asked from the distance but I ignored them.

During the meeting, I did my best to concentrate and focus but my mind kept on thinking about Mae Noona and Leo Hyung. What could they be doing right now? Are they done having dinner? Is she on her way home?

"Do you understand, Jung Kook-ssi?"

I was snapped back to reality when someone called my name.

"Ah... Yeah... Yeah!" I answered, even though I have no idea what the question was. I looked around the conference table and I saw how the other members gave me a weird look but I ignored it. The meeting took about one and a half hour. After the meeting, Namjoon hyung , Yoongi hyung, and Hoseok hyung went to their studio, Jin hyung went out with Sandeul hyung, Jimin hyung and Taehyung hyung went out to meet with some old high school friends. Everyone went their own way and I was left on my own. I decided to go to my own studio and edit some videos I took while we were on a trip and maybe I could release another Golden Closet Film. The idea made me smile. Maybe that could get me distracted from thinking about them.

I was busy doing some edits when my phone rang. I looked at the screen and saw Yugyeom's name on it. I picked up the phone and answered it.

"Yo! Wazzaup!" Yugyeom's voice in the other end sounded so excited.
