CHAPTER 11

JUNGKOOK's P.O.V.

"Is that Mae Noona who came in?" I heard Jin-hyung asked excitedly.

"Yeah, looks like her." Yoongi-hyung answered without looking as he was busy buttoning up his black silk polo.

"What is she doing here? I heard she works in the Production Department?" Hoseok hyung wondered as he put his jacket on.

"Oooohhh, maybe she is here to cheer for her old friend.. Me! HAHAHAHAHA!" Jin-hyung suggested excitedly. I clenched my jaw and ignored his remark. I don't know why, but Jin-hyung's laughter is pissing me off, or was it the thought that Mae Noona came for him? I shook my head to clear my thoughts. I should not feel this way especially towards Jin hyung who practically raised me since before debut.

"Nah! Impossible!" Taehyung-hyung and Jimin hyung said in chorus. I looked up and saw them snickering. I tilt my head in wonder what did they find funny. Just then, our manager came inside our room but his eyes wandered around as if looking for something or someone.

"Guys, did Miss Mae Ramirez arrived already?" He asked looking at me. I was about to answer but someone beat me to it.

"Ah, yes hyung! She was here a few minutes ago but when she saw us she suddenly turned around and left. I think she is still outside." Taehyung hyung answered.

"Ah, really? Okay! Thanks Taehyung-ah!" Hobeom hyung gave Taehyung hyung a high five as he passed him by but before Hobeom-hyung could walk out, I grabbed the sleeve of his shirt and asked him out of curiosity before I could stop myself. "Why is she here hyung?" Manager Hobeom paused for a while and looked intently into my eyes before he answered. "She is going to be your interpreter later for the interview since Miss Park had an emergency." He answered nonchalantly. Ah! So that is why. I nodded my head in understanding as I let him go. Hobeom hyung was about to walk out of the door when he suddenly froze.

"What's wrong, hyung?" Namjoon asked to our manager curiously. Our manager put his index finger on his lips then pointed somewhere outside before he spoke. "Mae, is talking with Park Seo Joon-ssi. It looks serious. I wonder how did they know each other?" Hobeom hyung stated. I felt my heart skip a beat. Wait! Why do I suddenly feely anxious. My body wants me to see what is happening outside but my brain says that it isn't my business so i should stay inside. 

"What? Seo Joon hyung is outside?" I heard Taehyung hyung muttered excitedly before he rushed to the door to greet his actor hyung but like manager Hobeom, Taehyung also stopped at the doorway. I wonder why? What is happening outside with Mae Noona and Park Seo Joon Sunbaenim? I can't stop my curiosity anymore and so I also went to the door to peek on what is happening outside.

At that exact moment, I saw Park Seo Joon sunbaenim grabbed Mae's hand with a scowl. I saw Mae Noona winced which means that he is hurting her. A feeling I have never felt within me kicked in and so before I could think, I rushed to Mae's side and removed Park Seo Joon sunbaenim's hand away from her. "Yah!" I heard him yell at my intrusion but I didn't even bother looking at him. I took Mae's hand with me and pulled her with me. "Manager Hobeom is looking for you." I muttered while dragging her with me.

"Yah, Jeon Jung Kook-ssi! Where are you taking her? We are still not done talking!" I heard Park Seo Joon-ssi bellowed in the hallway but I ignored him. "Yah!" He yelled one more time before I felt his hand on my wrist stopping us. I looked at his hand then at him with a glare. I clenched my jaw as I force myself to calm down.

"Jungkook-ssi." I heard Mae Noona called me and that distracted him from my thought of punching Seo Joon sunbaenim. I looked at her and saw the worried look on her face. I tried my best to smile at her to reassure her that nothing bad is going to happen before I look at Park Seo Joon sunbaenin's face with a stoic expression.
