CHAPTER 6

JUNGKOOK'S P.O.V.

Before the meeting this afternoon, we decided to drop by at our favorite restaurant to eat our lunch. We have been performing abroad for the past few months, so you can say that we we're quite deprived of authentic Korean cuisines. 

We were ushered into a private room as soon as we arrived to avoid the prying eyes of the public. "Ah, I'm hungry." Jimin hyung muttered as he took a seat next to me. "Can i take your orders now or should I come back later?"  The waiter asked politely. "Ahm, we can order now. Right?" Jin hyung answered for all of us and we nodded our head in agreement. "The usual?" The waiter asked and we all agreed. The waiter smiled at us and bowed before he left. 

It didn't take long for all of our foods arrived. "Ahh! it's here! Let's dig in!" Taehyung hyung excitedly took a bite of the sweet and sour pork and made a satisfied face. I started to make a pork belly wrap with kimchi in it as well and the moment I took a bite, I can't help but release a sigh. This is home. "Hey, guys, have you heard that the company is collaborating with a local company from the Philippines?" Hoseok hyung asked in between meals. "Yeah, actually, I heard that from manager Sejin." Yoongi hyung replied. "Me, too." Jin hyung agreed. I look at the other members nodding while I on the other hand have no idea what they are talking about. 

"Is that why we have s meeting this afternoon?" Jimin hyung asked while chewing on his food. Namjoon hyung nodded in answer. "I wonder what is it about. What kind of collaboration could it be?" Hoseok hyung wondered out loud. "What do you think, Jungkook-ah?" He looked at me which caught me off guard. I simple shrugged my shoulder and continued eating because I honestly have no idea.

After a meal, I felt the need to pee and so I excused myself and headed to the bathroom. I did what I have to do and then went back to our room but suddenly there are fans everywhere.

 "Jungkook Oppa, can I please have your autograph?"

"Oppa, how about a selfie?" 

"Oppa! Oppa!" 

The noise is getting deafening, now where is the security? I looked around and saw them approaching me. "Kids, I am sorry but you are not allowed to take pics. Now, move along!" Some of the guards are pushing the fans away. Just then, one woman stumbled in front of me while clutching her mouth. She looked at me and saw how her eyes went wide with surprise.  I wonder if she is okay. She looked distressed as she looked past me. She tried to get past the people around us but these people just won't move. And then suddenly, she vomited right in front of me. Everyone around us gasped in horror and honestly I felt disgusted when I saw her puke all over the place. "I'm sorry." She apologized. "I.. I think I should go now." She muttered on herself as she pushed her way back from where she came from when suddenly she collapsed to the floor. Everyone was frozen is shock.

"Oh my God! Is she okay?" One of the people around us muttered but nobody moved. I clicked my tongue and went to the unconscious lady in front of us. "Miss, Miss! Miss, wake up!" I nudged her shoulder but she didn't move. I am feeling scared all of a sudden. Don't tell me she's dead. I put my cheek in front of her face as I feel for any sign of breath and luckily, she is still breathing. I breathe a sigh of relief. "Hey, Miss! Wake up!" I touched her cheek but then I felt her hot skin. She is running a fever. I looked around and wonder if she has any companion. It was then I saw a lady coming in our direction. 

"Oh my God! Mae!" She gasped in horror. "What happened to her? Did someone already call an ambulance?" She asked worriedly. She looked at me and then she gasped. "Oh! My! God! You're..." She pointed at me looking aghast. I shook my head and then took my phone out and dialed for her. I called the emergency hotline and told them everything they need to know. "They are already on their way." I informed the lady before I walked away.
