Interlude 01

Just something that flashed on my mind.

What if we throw a question or two to our main character? What is their answer? How they reacts to it?

1. You're the world's enemy?

"Hey, what are you doing if someday the world choose to turns against you? And took all your precious people from you?"

Raven blinked. Confused drawn clearly on his face. After several seconds he shrugged and attention back to the book in his hand.

"Accept it. If the world want me to be their enemies, then I'll be their enemy. Fight back, tried to secure who's that precious to me. If they got and killed them all, I'll just try to destroy the world. I'll fight until I can't stand back. And if I died in the process? It's okay. It's not like I won't be back."

"What do you mean you won't be back? Isn't death are permanent?!"

"Death, not like to the other beings, it's not permanent against me. When other beings was sent to the afterlife, Death sent me to the other world."

Raven closed the book in his hand and put it back to the library's self. He sighed before turning back.

"What?!"
 

"You ask me what if the world turn against me, right? My answer is to accept it. It's not like I never experienced it before." 

And with that, he leaves the library.

2. Try to ruin our family?

In the hallway, two groups of people are arguing. Well, I'll said only one side yelling on the other duo while the said duo only staring and watching.

"You two are so brave for ignoring us. I'll show you the consequences for it."

"Then what is it? What would you do, huh?" The younger one of the duo taunting them, felt pissed already, while his partner? Sister? Are facepalming.

"What I could do, huh? Of course I could get your family suffer! My father has a big connection and it would so easy for him to get your family!"

Hearing that, the older of the duo snorted, a cold smile plastered on her face. While her white haired brother changed his annoyed face with somewhat of cold rage.

"Did you say that you will torn our family into pieces?" She pointed to herself. "You're dreaming."

"What?! I really could-" but before they finished their sentence, the brother cut them.
 

"You can't torn our already shattered family. Kill our parents? They're already dead for seven years now. Separating us? We're already seperated on the night when our parents killed and just reunited recently. Burn our home? It's already turn into ashes, along with our city. Cast a multiple or one big magic to our birthplace? I already done that and now that place is covered in everlasting snow."
 

The other group fell silent, before one girl, the leader of this bully group, tried open her mouth to argue more, but being cut already before she could speak.
 

"If you ever wonder to hire an assassin to assassinate us, it's just a waste. No assassin brave enough to accept your offer after hearing our last name." He leaned his upper body to face the shorter girl in the opposite group.
