"Can I get you ladies anything else?" We both turn to look up at Loki who has one of his mischievous smiles planted on his face. What is that man planning?

"I'm all good, thank you Loki. Wanda?" I turn to look at her as she shakes her head lightly.

"I'm all done. Just the bill please Loki." He nods his head spinning on his heels to grab the receipt and card machine.

"Which one of you lovely ladies is paying?" Loki places the receipt in front of us so we can both look at it.

"I will." Wanda fishes through her bag looking at me as she pulls out her purse. "If that's okay with you y/n. I mean this was my idea to come here, so I just thought I should be the one to pay."

"It's okay princess. You can pay. You don't have to ask my permission to treat me to coffee."

"Okay." She puts her card I'm the machine as Loki looks between us, raising his eyebrows at the interaction.

"Oh y/n before I forget. How's the back?" I choke on air. What a fucking dick. I love Loki, don't get me wrong, but sometimes he is too mischievous for his own good.

"It's fine." I grumble earning a raised eyebrow from both Wanda and him, but ignore the looks as I stand to get my overcoat back on. "Are you ready to go Wanda?"

Her brows knit together slightly, before she relaxes and simply nods her head. Her eyes flick between me and Loki. Before she can ask any questions, large bounding footsteps can be heard making their way over to us. I see the blonde man smiling fondly towards me and Wanda, giving Loki a disapproving look as he gives him a smack around the back of the head. I stifle a laugh at Loki's wince, as he rubs the back of his head trying to soothe the pain.

"Of so soon Lady Maximoff?" He gives the older woman a gentle hug, which she reciprocates fondly.

"I am indeed. This date isn't over, so we are off for a walk." Wanda makes her way to me, grabbing my hand gently to start leading me out of the café.

"Will I be seeing you soon Lady Y/n?" I turn to face Thor as I answer.

"You will indeed be Thor. It was nice to see you after so long. You too Loki." He waves his hand dismissively at me still grumbling about how hard his brother hit him, but Thor smiles happily.

"Well don't wait too long. 2 years is far too long surely." I swallow the lump in my throat trying to hide my emotions and clear my throat slightly.

"2 years is too long. Maybe we make this a weekly thing once again."

"That would be nice." I turn back to look at Wanda, who has a fond smile on her face.

"Goodbye Thor."

"Bye Lady Y/n. Lady Maximoff." He turns to our table to start clearing it.

"Goodbye Loki."

"Yeah, yeah. Goodbye y/n." He doesn't look at me as he disappears into the back of the office, and I am getting dragged out of there by Wanda.

We start walking down the sidewalk, heading to the small park that's a few blocks away. Our hands, holding one another, are swinging lazily between our bodies as Wanda practically bounces on her feet enjoying every moment so far. She walks in front of me a few paces, then turns her body to face me so she is walking backwards. Luckily, the sidewalk is empty so she doesn't have to concentrate on what's behind her. Just what's in front. Which is me.

"I would say I'm glad you get along with some of my friends, but seeing as you are already friends with them it sort of defeats the object." She laughs out a little before scanning my face with her eyes. "Well there was a bit of tension between you and Loki. What's that about?"
