My body registers the warmth below me before I even open my eyes, my arms wrapped firmly around the woman below me with my head resting between her belly button and hip. My legs are pulled up slightly to stop them falling off the end of the bed, one hooked over Wanda's keeping her as close as possible. I sigh at all of the skin on skin contact there is with how we are laying, not often do I end up being the one using her as a pillow. A shiver goes down my spine at the feeling of her nails scratching at the back of my neck, even in her sleep her body craves mine in some way.

I slowly open my eyes, allowing them to look up and down at our positions as best I can without moving my head and disturbing the sleeping woman in my hold, biting my lip as I realise she has a pair of my boxers on. I take in a deep breath burying my nose in her skin so I can breathe her in, the faint smell of strawberries from her soaps putting me in an almost relaxed trance.

I don't jump when I feel a hand brush against my arm that's wrapped around her waist, barely flinching when I feel a single finger tracing my warm skin. I don't tighten my hold when the hand at my neck moves into my hair, slowly brushing the loose strands out of my face. I simply press my lips to the side kissing the soft skin below, smiling at the soft sigh from above.

My eyes close as my hand is pulled from underneath her, delicate fingers tracing over my knuckles as my arm is moved. I feel the softest of heartbeats as my hand is pressed into the base of her sternum, nothing sexual about it, my fingers twitching ever so slightly at the feeling.

And yet I still do not move.

Her finger continues to trace along my knuckles. With every dip her finger travels down the back of my hand to my wrist, and back to the next knuckle to the tip of my finger; then back down. Over and over, every finger, every knuckle, every inch of skin. Once, twice, three times she traces my hand before lifting it up and shifting some of her weight slightly.

The softest of kisses are pressed to the tips of my fingers.

Only then do I move.

I open my eyes once more, moving my body to lay between her legs as I rest my chin just below her bellybutton so I can look up at her:my legs now hanging off the bed slightly. The whole time her hand stays in my hair, keeping it from falling in my face, her other holding mine close to her heart.

Our eyes meet. 1000 words being spoken in a silent room as her green orbs pull me in further than I thought I could ever fall. I tap my finger against her chest in time with her heart and I feel mine skip at the fuzzy smile that grows, her cheeks turn pink as her eyes sparkle in the light filtering through a gap in the curtain.

"Wow." I don't mean to say it out loud, breaking the silence we have allowed to settle around us, but I know the word pulls at her heart when I see her blush move from her cheeks up towards her ears.

I press my hands into the mattress besides her hips, lifting some of my body weight off of her but keeping my legs relaxed. Using the balance I have to lower myself until my lips brush her delicate skin. I press a soft kiss on her hip, then the other, then below her belly button. My movements slow, my kisses soft I move my way up, kissing a straight line up her body. It's tender, non sexual, and I can feel myself fall in love all over again when I press a kiss to the skin above her heart and her hands move down to push her fingers in the gaps between mine.

I smile softly as I move my right hand to readjust, our palms touch. Our fingers lace together. I move our now joined hands to find home next to her hand, her fingers clasping just a bit tighter trying to convey her words through touch. I easily do the same with the other hand as I leave one last kiss above her heart before lifting my head to hover above hers.
