(Y/n's PoV)

I easily get lost in her green eyes, the way they are sparkling in the morning light small creases forming at the edges as the smile on her face grows wider. Her head tilts softly, her teeth pull at the corner of her bottom lip. Her eyes haven't left mine and mine haven't left hers for what feels like a lifetime but I am sure it has only been a few seconds since my admission at wanting her to be my wife in our future. I jump slightly at the feeling of her hand on my cheek, so lost in her eyes I didn't notice any other movement.

"It's just me baby." I smile at the tenderness in her voice, my eyes fluttering shut as I lean into her hand on my cheek. "How did I get so lucky?"

I turn my head to press a soft kiss to her palm allowing my eyes to flutter open and they naturally look to hers, a thousand silent conversations happening all at once behind them as they soften at my actions.

"I think I'm the lucky one." Wanda's smile turns soft, her teeth disappearing behind her lips as they become slightly pursed to the side.

"After everything I've done and to still have you love me and be with me. I am definitely the lucky one here."

I turn to face her completely, her legs falling back onto the bed and she quickly pulls her knees to her chest with her free arm wrapping around her legs. Her hand that was on my cheek seems to recoil as she thinks about what she has just said, instead moving to rub at her eyebrows that pull together and her smile drops to a frown. I pull my legs underneath my body sitting back on my calves. I lean forward as far as I can to wrap my right arm around Wanda's back, my left hand pushing between her knee and chest and use the leverage of sitting back down on my calves to move her closer to me.

I unwrap my arms from her body, Wanda's other hand now wrapping around her legs allowing her to pull her knees tight against her body. She tilts her head down so her chin comes to rest on her knees, the swirling emotions in her eyes growing with the tears that form. I reach out my hand, stopping short of her cheek not wanting to initiate contact when she was in her own head. I watch as her eyes look to my hand then to my eyes and she must see something in them that lets her breathe out slowly and rest tilt her head to put her cheek in my hand.

"Baby, can you look at me?" She shakes her head so softly I barely catch it but I feel the movement with my hand. "Baby I want you to be looking at me when I speak to you so I know you are listening to what I am saying."

"I'm listening." She mumbles, her eyes continuing to look down and avoiding me.

"My love." I keep my voice quiet and soft, her eyes briefly flicking up to me at the name before dropping back down. "You may say you're listening, but I know you're in your own head so you'll only be hearing what I am saying. Not listening. Not taking in what I need you to take in."

"Okay." She lets out a small sigh and I smile softly when her eyes meet mine, rubbing my thumb in soothing circles over her cheek.

"I love you. I am so in love with you." I see Wanda's bottom lip start to wobble as her eyes become watery. "Yes in the past you have hurt me, but it doesn't mean you don't love me and cherish me. A lot of those things wouldn't have happened if you didn't care and love me, trying to protect me from what you see yourself as after being with Vision. But the way you always, always apologise and own up to your mistakes and you show me through words and actions what the person I love is truly like."

"And what is she like?" Wanda sniffs, using the back of her hand to wipe some tears from her eyes.

"My love, you are extraordinary. You are kind, caring, you have so much love to share with everyone. You're smart and talented, you are strong and independent but not so much that you don't allow others in. You're cute, adorable and your smile makes me melt like the first time I saw it. I love everything about you. You are perfect princess, please don't forget that."
