Ruling The Last Section (Season 2- COMPLETED)

Sorry for the long wait on the update :-( I just got vaccinated, and I was sick for two days. And on the third day, I was resting and recovering from it. I was about to update last Wednesday, but I didn't make it to finish this chapter.

Ayoko naman na magsulat na hindi pa maganda ang lagay dahil baka hindi maganda ang kalabasan lalo na at isa ito sa mga pinaka mahalagang chapter sa story. And this chapter is also the one I'm most anticipating to write ever since! Also, I knew you all miss the last section so.... enjoy reading!

Kabanata 180:
Inferno

I took a deep breath. My lips trembled as I reluctantly raised my gaze. I leisurely licked my lower lip and cleared my throat. Humigpit ang hawak ko sa gilid ng kahoy na lamesa. My heart is pounding too fast. I can hear the loud thrumming of it in my ears.

Nakakabingi ang lakas ng tahip noon pero mas lalong nakakabingi ang katahimikan ng last section. Pagkatapos na mamutawi sa labi ko ang ilang kuwento, tahimik silang lahat. Para bang prinoproseso pa sa isip ang mga nasabi ko. They're all silent.

Xerox closed his eyes and he hold on the edge of the chair, like he'll lost his balance if he won't hold on to something. Siya ang una kong nakitaan ng reaksiyon. Sumunod si Kuwai na nagtangis ang panga. He muttured something under his breath and leaned his forehead on the wall. I can see his knuckles forming into fist. Napaupo si Helix na para bang biglaang nawalan ng lakas. Nanghihina at hindi na kaya pang tumayo.

Natulala naman ang iba, habang ang natitira ay tahimik. Walang masabi. We're embrace by the deafening silence for a few agonizing moment. I couldn't move too. Like I'm recovering from what all I said. Wala pa ako sa kalahati, pero ito na ako. Nanghihina at halos hindi na magawang maituloy ang pagsasalita.

I am trembling a bit too. Pilit kong kinalimutan ang mga ala-ala na iyon at ngayong nagbabaliktanaw akong muli, bumabalik lahat ng emosyon na hatid sa akin ng mga masalimuot na ala-ala. I am breathing massively. My chest is rosing up and down.

"Hindi pa tapos.... h-halos wala pa ako sa kalahati." saad ko pagkatapos ng bahagyang mahabang katahimikan. The coldness of our silence is seething on my skin. I couldn't take it.

They all look in a deep thought. They all look stunned. Sa mga nauna kong kuwento, hindi pa iyon ganoon kabigat. Kaya iniisip ko kung paano pa ang susunod nilang reaksiyon sa pagpapatuloy ko ng kuwento.

I look at Kuwai. He's staring at me. His eyes were pitch black. I can see the visible intensity on it. He gasped as he pinched his eyes closed and muttered a curse.

"A-At hindi pa nasasagot lahat ng tanong sa isip niyo na alam kong matagal niyo nang hinahanapan ng sagot." sabi ko. Sinusubukan na tignan sila isa-isa. The room suddenly become dark because of the gloomy weather outside.

The sky was dark, and the clouds looked so heavy. The rain is near to pour. Naririnig ko ang ilang kulog, nagbabadya sa pagsama ng panahon. And for some reason, I think that's a warning too for them to brace themselves on my upcoming heavy story.

Their shadow casted on their left side. Kalahati ng mukha nila ay nasisinagan ng natitirang liwanag ng kalangitan. The other left is dark.I look at my shadow in the floor. I tremble a bit. It add more forlorn feeling in our atmosphere.

They are all uttered speechless. Xerox's shoulder move as he elicits a harsh gasp. Like he just recovered from what he heard.

"You... have a brother. An older brother?" Xerox is the second one to break the silence. Nag-angat ng tingin sa akin ang lahat. They're all anticipating my answer.

"Hmmm." tumango ako. Xerox's eyes glistened.

"Why you didn't tell us?" mahina ang tinig niya sa sumunod na tanong. Para bang nanghihina. Huminga ako nang malalim para pabuoin ang tinig dahil nanginginig na naman ang labi ko.
