She moves back to her room sighs remembering the morning incident. She knew something big is about to happen. But she cannot do anything as she is bound by his family. She cannot deny them. She had small hope still in her heart that he might come for the functions.
On the other side, Saudamini says," Ye pyaar mujhe bohot dard de raha hai dida. Anirudh ka prem zeher ban raha hai mere liye." Dida says," Woh aayega tumse baat karne ke liye. Par tumhe baat karni hogi, tumne pyaar toh Kho diya, par dosti bhi khona chahti ho kya?" Saudamini says, "Mujhe bas pyaar chahiye, dosti nhi." She shuts the door and cries. Dida thinks, he never loved you, he told you, but you didn't hear. She gets worried for Saudamini and decides to call Anirudh.
Anirudh storms into his study and sits clutching his head. His telephone rings and he picks it up. Dida tells him about Saudamini and how she is crying a lot. Anirudh rushes to her home.
On the way, he hears Trilochan asking Bihari to go and see if Bondita is ready, he will not compromise with the rituals. Anirudh stops Bihari. Binoy looks on. Anirudh says," Jab woh ladki iss ghar ki bahu hai hi nhi, toh kis baat ki rasam? Koi rasam nhi hogi." Trilochan says, "Duniya ke liye patni hai woh tumhari, kis kis ko bolte firoge ki zimmedari hai woh? Rasme toh hongi. Aur tumhe manni bhi padegi." He asks Bihari to go and check up on his Bahurani. Bihari goes.
Anirudh comes to Saudamini and says," Agar tum kahogi bhi, toh bhi iss baar nhi jaunga mai. Sunni padegi tumhe meri baat." She says," Maine toh tumhe pehle bhi nhi kaha tha, tum toh khud hi chale gaye." They argue. He says, "Tumhe kuch nhi pata, maine uss ladki se shadi ki kyuki…" She interrupts and says," Tumhe uski sundarta par prem aa gaya. Uske lambe baalo mai kho gaye na tum. Kya mere baal ghane aur sundar nhi? Koi tulna hai kya ham dono ki?" He asks her to listen. She shouts at him and argues. She misunderstands him. He asks her to trust him. She refuses. Mini asks," Kyu kari tumne usse shadi, uske baalon par dil aa gaya na tumhara. Mere yeh baal kis kaam ke joh tumhe meri aur akarshit na kar sake?" She takes the scissors to cut her hair. He scolds her and snatches the scissors. Bihari comes and says Trilochan is calling you for rasam. Mini asks Anirudh to go to his pretty wife. He leaves.
On the other hand, The guest asks about Anirudh and his bride. Trilochan says Anirudh had to marry, it was a problem of shubh mahurat. Bondita comes down decked up beautifully. Earlier she had worn light jewellery but she got scolded by Trilochan to maintain the decency of Roy Choudhury Bahu at least in front of villagers. Everyone gossips seeing her. Anirudh comes and throws the kumkum plate which falls on him and Bondita. He says, "Yaha koi rasam nhi hogi, aap sabhi jaiye." Trilochan goes to him and whispers in his ear, "Kya kar raha hai Anirudh, dekh log kya soch rahe hai. Sab khusfusa rahe hai. Ab tu patni laya hai toh rasam karni padegi." Anirudh shouts, "Nahi, nahi mana hai maine use patni." Trilochan asks, "Kese rahegi fir woh yaha?". Anirudh says," Woh is hi tarah se rahegi jese Som aur Batuk rehte hai." Trilochan says, "Batuk aur Som bhai hai tumhare, par woh ladki, usse tumne vivaah kiya hai. Use patni ka darja dena hoga tumhe." Anirudh says," Nhi hai woh meri patni, na mai use patni manta hu, na hi aap log use meri patni manenge." Trilochan scolds him for making their respect shattered. Anirudh says I told you, I won’t do any mistake. Trilochan says," Thik fir ab hame Kaka na bula na. Koi nhi hai hum tumhare liye." Anirudh says, "Maine hamesha apko apne baba se zyada prem kiya, zyada samman diya." Trilochan says,"Jaante hai hum. Par ek baat batao, Kya tum toh logo ki bhalai ke liye unse vivaah karte rahoge?" Anirudh says irritated," Maine usse vivaah uski jaan bachane ke liye kiya. Aur ab koi rasm nhi hogi." He asks pandit to leave. Anirudh storms back to his study.
