Trilochan kaka sees Bondita helping Anirudh in climbing down the stairs. 'Hai toh sarvkushal hamari Bahu, jaante hai hum. Par Saudamini ne joh kaha usse bhi nazarandaaz nhi kar sakte hai. Ho sakta hai bahu ki kundli mai koi dosh ho. Jiske karan sankat aa rahe hai.' Thinks Trilochan. He sees Bondita and calls her out.
Bondita makes Anirudh sit on the sofa and takes Trilochan's blessings. Trilochan blesses her and says," Khub khush raho. Achha suno, hame tumhari kundali chahiye, hogi na tumhare paas?" Bondita nods and says, "Ha Ksj, maami ne saath bandhi toh thi." Anirudh interupts their conversation and says," Kaka aapko kyu chahiye Bondita ki kundali?" Trilochan stutters and says," Woh... Woh..." Saudamini comes and interupts," Woh trilochan kaka grih shanti pujaa karana chahte hai. Uske liye sabhi gharwalo ki kundali chahiye." Anirudh says," Grih shanti puja, aur woh kyu?" Saudamini says," Kal tumhara accident ho gaya aur toh aur aaj maa Durga ki chunar jal gayi. Bohot bura sanket hai yeh, isliye."
Bondita gasps and says," Maa dugga ki chunar jal gayi, hame jald se jald pooja karani chahiye." Anirudh face palms himself and says gritting his teeth, "Bondita tum bhi?". Bondita glares at him and says," Tum bhi kya tum bhi? Suna nahi aapne, pooja hogi toh bass hogi.". Anirudh gets angry and says," Mai in sab mai nhi maanta, mai court chala jaunga, wese bhi kaam bohot hai." Bondita was going to rebel when Trilochan says," Ha tum chale jana, par Bahu tumhare saath jaegi. Bahu tum jana Anirudh ke saath, ham yaha pooja kar lenge"
Bondita says," Par Ksj aap taiyaari kese karenge? Som dada bhi College gaye hai, Batuk bhi school gaya hai." Trilochan says, "Saudamini hamari madad kar degi, par abhi Anirudh ki dekhbal zyada zaruri hai, isliye tum jaao." Bondita nods. She goes to her room and gives her kundli to kaka and leaves with Anirudh after getting done with the breakfast.
Saudamini goes to her house and brings the baba. She whispers to him," Aapko yaad hai na kya kya bolna hai aapko?" Baba nods and Saudamini takes him in the haveli. Trilochan welcomes him and hands him the kundli of Bondita and Anirudh. The baba acts to study it and then says suddenly," Ghor sankat, ghor sankat hai aapke bete par." Trilochan worries and says, "Kesa sankat baba?" Baba says, "Aapki bahu ki kundli ke nakshatra bahut galat disha mai hai. Jiske karan unke suhaag yani ki, Anirudh Babu par bohot bade bade sankat aayenge. Inki kundli dekhkar esa lagta hai, abhi abhi unhone ek sankat ko paar kiya hai. Aur toh aur lagta hai iska dugga maa ne bhi koi sanket diya hai aapko."
Trilochan gets stunned and looks at Saudamini. Saudamini says," Nahi kaka, maine kuch bhi nhi bataya inhe." Baba says," Par yeh toh kuch bhi nhi hai, abhi toh aage aur sankat aayenge. Unki jaan par bhi ban sakti hai." Trilochan worries and says," Baba esa mat boliye. Kuch toh upaay hoga." Baba says," Upaay toh hai, par kya aapki Bahu manengi?" They hear a voice and turn back, Bondita stood there with teary eyes, she says," Mai karungi baba, aap joh kahenge woh mai karungi. Apne pati babu ke liye kuch bhi." Trilochan smiles at her and she goes and takes the blessings of baba and kaka. Trilochan tells her everything and asks," Bahu, Anirudh?"
*Flashback Bondita was sitting in the car frowning. Anirudh looks at her and says," Kya hua Bondita?" Bondita says," Aap ki zid ke karan ghar ki nayi bahu ghar ki hi shanti puja mai nhi hai." Anirudh says," Par Bondita tum jaanti ho na..." Bondita turns to him and says," Jaanti hu ki aap nhi karte inn sab mai vishwaas, par ham toh karte hai na. Aapko sabhi ke vishwaas ki kadr karni chahiye. Aur jis vishwaas se kisi ko koi haani na pahuche toh kya burai hai?" Anirudh thinks for a minute and says," Achha thik hai, mujhe chodkar fir tum chali jaana ghar vapis."
Bondita gasps and says," Na baba naa. Mai kahi nahi jaaungi. Aapko akele chodkar kese jaau mai?" He says, "Bondita mai chota bachha nhi hu. Aur zyada kuch takleef nhi hai, aur agar mujhe kuch bhi takleef hui, toh mai tumhe telephone kar dunga. Aur driver ruk jaayega na mere saath, tum wapis mere mitr ki gaadi se chale jana." Bondita says," Pakka aap dhyaan rakhenge?" He imitates her by pinching his throat and says"Shotti!". They chuckle.
Bondita reaches home and hears all their talks. She hears how she had kundali dosh and it was troublesome for her husband. Though she had a rationale thought process but her worried heart overpowered her thoughtful mind and she fell into the trap laid by Saudamini.
Kaka says," Baba ab toh Bahu bhi aa gai hai, toh aap upay bataye." Baba says," Putri, upaay thoda kathin hoga par, faydemand hoga. Tumhe ek puri raat thande, bilkul thande paani mai khada hona hoga aur maa dugga ka shlok 1000 baar bolna hoga." Bondita nods but Trilochan says worried," Baba koi asaan upay nhi hai kya, yeh toh bohot kathin hai." Baba shakes his head in a no.
Trilochan says slowly to Saudamini, "Beta yeh toh bohot kathin hai, tum baba ko le jaao, ham kisi aur ko bula lenge." Saudamini's eyes widen on realising her plan failing. She knew if kaka refers to somebody else then he might come to know about her plan.
She gives a signal to the baba and Baba says," Wese ek aur upaay hai, yeh ek tabeez le lijiye, isse kuch fark toh zarur padhega, dekhte hai kuch din, warna yahi karna padega. Lo saudamini, iss putri ko pehna do yeh." Saudamini ties the tabeez on her forearm and covers it with her sleeve. Baba says," Ek khaas baat kya dhyaan rakhe, koi bhi iss tabeez ya hamare upaay ke baare mai galat na bole, warna bohot bura ho sakta hai. Aur putri, jab tak sankat nhi tal jaata, tumhare grih nakshatra sahi sthan par nhi aate, tumhe apne pati se dur hona padega." Baba leaves.
Trilochan warns Bondita to not to tell anything to anybody else. Bondita moves to her room and notices the tabeez. It was very sharp and digging into her skin. She remembers her mami's taunts, "Tere karan hi tere ma baba duniya chodke chale gaye" "Apne hi maa baba ko nigal gai" "Iske toh janm ke samay hi maha Panditji ne kaha tha ki yeh apshaguni hai". Bondita keeps her hand on her ears and closes her eyes.
Those taunts and today's conversation was replaying in her mind. Tears escape her eyes. She rushes to the washroom and puked. Hey dugga maa, mere pati babu ki raksha karna. Mai apna apshagun mere pati babu ko bhari nahi padne dungi. Joh lagega woh karungi. Mere jeevan mai hai kya koi unke alawa.
Saudamini pays money to the baba and smirks. Ab Jald hi Bondita dar jaegi, aur bhag jaegi, itna pareshan karungi, itna dara dungi, ki yaha vapis kadam bhi nhi rakhegi. Dekhi hai maine iski aankhon Mai Anirudh ke liye parwaah. Chali jaegi yeh Anirudh ke liye!
