Anirudh was in the car waiting for Bondita and her sisters to leave for Devipur, where Bondita's cousin Thakumaa resided. He turns his face abruptly on the chiming of somebody's anklet as his eyes fall on the pretty lady in front of him.
Bondita was dressed in a proper red bengali saree, adorned with light jewellery. Her hair, free of her treacherous pallu, were flowing straight up to her sleek waist.
As his gaze moved down, his eyes caught the sight of that thin kamardhani that hugged her sleek bare waist. He gulped as he moved his eyes back up. Bondita was looking at him with a small smirk which changed into a smile as his eyes moved back up.
Bondita was a blushing mess as she saw his eyes stop at her Kamardhani. By now, she understood that Anirudh had a different attraction to her Kamardhani. She remembers their office encounter as the goosebumps erupt on her skin.
Anirudh holds her forearm and she gets pulled back into his hard chest. He says, "Playing games, are we?" Bondita shys away. He then whispers into her ear, "But I am not!" He sits on his knees and picks up the kamardhani that was fallen on the floor. He gently adjusts it on her bare waist. He sees the goosebumps erupt on her waist as his fingers brush past her navel. Bondita clutches her pallu as she feels his hot breath fanning over her waist.
Anirudh sees Bondita lost in her thoughts and chuckles looking at her blushing. He gets out of the car and walks over to Bondita and whispers moving closer to her ear," Mere baare mai soch rahi ho?" Bondita stumbles at her place in surprise and holds his suspenders for support. Due to this, Anirudh gets pulled and holds her to stabilize himself.
Bondita tries to remove her hands from his suspenders but stops as Anirudh holds her hands in between. Bondita looks down shyly as Anirudh whispers huskily," Patakha lag rahi ho!" Bondita looks at him wide eyed and slaps on his forearm. She says angrily blushing," Kesi baatein kar rahe hai aap? Kon sikhata hai apko yeh sab?"
Anirudh pulls her closer and says, "Tumne hi naam rakha na Tharki Babu , bas isiliye yeh nayi cheezein sikh raha hu!" Bondita looks at him stunned and turns her face towards the gate abruptly as she hears Thakumaa's approaching footsteps.
She tries to struggle out, but to no avail as Anirudh instead of loosening, tightens his grip on her. Bondita says with a puppy face," Please chod dijiye. Thakumaa aa rahi hai!" Anirudh leaves Bondita with a sigh as Bondita takes deep breath to control her ragged breathing.
Thakumaa gets them all settled as they leave for Devipur. Bondita and Tapur sing all the way long, enjoying and playing. Bondita looks at Tupur sitting all quiet and tensed. She tries to get her join in but Tupur declines. Bondita tries to push her but stops as Anirudh indicates her not to do so.
They reach Devipur in an hour or so. Bondita, Tapur, Tupur and Anirudh go inside. Tapur introduces Bondita and Anirudh to all the relatives. Tapur takes the couple to the eldest lady of the house, Thakumaa's cousin elder sister.
