"Saudamini ki maine jaanch ki hai, unhe sharirik koi bimaari nhi hai! Unhe mansik bimari hai, jise optic neuritis kehte hai. Yeh clinical depression ke wajah se hota hai, kya unka kabhi pehle accident hua tha? Ya koi durghantna hui ho, jisse unke mann par gehra aghaat pada ho!?" Says the doctor after checking Saudamini. Saudamini who was peeking from behind the curtains, eavesdropping, smirks at them. Anirudh looks at him questioningly, and doctor clarifies," Agar unke saath koi hadsa nhi hua hai, toh mujhe esa lagta hai ki woh mann se bohot dukhi hai! Koi mansik chot pahuchi hai unke dil par jiske karan woh dukhi rehti hai. Aur yahi dukh inki bimaari ka karan hai. Mansik tanav se ya toh aadmi pagal ho jata hai, ya usse ajeeb ajeeb awaze aati hai, ya woh dekhne ki shakti kho deta hai."
Anirudh remembers Bhoumik's words and Saudamini's accident. Waah Saudamini, bimaari bhi tumne hi banayi, aur uska upaay bhi doctor ko tumne hi bataya. Thinks Saudamini smiling evilly.

Mujhe lagta hai ki agar woh khush rahengi, toh unki sari pareshani khud ba khud thik ho jaegi. Aur agar yeh takleef thik nhi hui, toh aapko unko lekar vilayat jaana padega, kyuki sabhi bade doctor aur advanced treatment wahi hai. Mai toh aapko yahi salaah dunga, ki aap achhe pati hone ke naate, unhe zyada se zyada prem kijiye. Patni ke masik rog ko Pati ka pyaar hi thik kar sakta hai."
Saudamini looks on scared and Anirudh looks on shocked. He says," Doctor saab, aapko galat fehmi hui hai, Saudamini meri patni nhi, bachpan ki dost hai." Doctor says confused," Par Saudamini ji ne toh..." Saudamini enters and interupts the doctor," Chalo Anirudh, Bondita ki bhi kamar mai moch aayi hai na, mujhe bhi usse milna hai! Chalo na plss" . She drags Anirudh outside and the doctor wonders why Saudamini lied to him about her marriage.
Doctor's words left a deep impact on Anirudh, he moves forward without speaking anything, and Saudamini smirks looking at him. Aaj pehli baar padhai likhai ka asal istemaal hua, tumhe kya lagta hai Anirudh, keval tum padh kar jankari prapt kar sakte ho? Saudamini thinks and throws a paper titled, "Aaj ka gyaan - Optic Neuritis" into the dustbin.
Anirudh walks back home after dropping Saudamini at hers. He moves to his room directly to have a talk with his wife. His heart relaxed as soon as he heard the giggling of his wife from the hallway. He moves to his room and sees Bondita giggling with Batuk. They were playing some board games. Batuk was whining and Bondita was laughing at him. Anirudh stares at his wife who was laughing freely, without any second thoughts. Bondita feels a gaze on her and looks up. She finds her husband staring at her with a small smile, heat rushes up to her cheeks and she looks away, smiling shyly. Anirudh enters the room and sits beside Batuk.
