Villagers scold Bondita and get angry. They call her a thief. They shout, "Malik, aaj toh aapko Bondita ko saza deni padegi! Aaj toh aapko nyaay karna padega! Aapko Bondita ko Roy Choudhury Haveli se nikalna hoga!"
Trilochan says folding his hands," Mujhe Bondita ki galti manzoor hai. Mai aap sabhi ko aapke paise lauta dunga, aap sab jaa sakte hai, ham apna parivarik mamla khud sambhal lenge!" Bondita tries to tell that all the money is in Brijwasi's hut but stops as Bhaumik comes and says, "Aap sabhi ke paise toh lauta denge, par kya lauta paenge meri beti ki aankhe? De payenge usse uski zindagi wapis?" Saudamini smiles.
Sab mere jhut ke karan hua hai, agar mai uss papi ka saath nhi deti toh mini di bhi thik hoti.! Saudamini acts to fall. Anirudh holds her. Bhaumik thinks this is our first victory, Saudamini is first for Anirudh now. Bhaumik asks," Kya mol chukayenge aap meri beti ki aankho ka? Aap sirf baatein kar sakte hai, aur kuch nhi! Mai meri beti ke gunahgaaro ko maaf nhi kar sakta."
Trilochan and Bondita get shocked. Bhaumik says," Brijwasi toh bhaag gaya, par uske saathi ko saza milegi, ab police aayegi aur woh hi nyaay karegi!" Saudamini says," Ruk jaiye baba, mujhe yeh sab kuch nhi karna! Kya esa krne se meri dekhne ki shakti wapis aa jaegi?" Bhaumik says sternly," Tum chup raho Saudamini, mujhe nyaay chahiye!"
Trilochan joins his hands and bends in front of Saudamini. Sampoorna didi ki jaan ke liye aaj mere Ksj, jinka raaj chalta tha Tulsipur mai, unki naak kat gai, unhe sabhi ke saamne jhukna pad raha hai! Bondita thinks crying. Saudamini thinks, Aaj maine trilochan kaka ko bhi apne saamne jhuka diya! Aage aage dekho hota hai kya! She says," Aap kya kar rahe hai kaka, aap bade hai mere, yu mujhe sharminda mat kariye. Aap mujhe aashirwad dijiye ki joh maine khoya hai woh mujhe wapis mil jaye!"
Anirudh picks Trilochan's stick. Trilochan says," Maine apna sab kuch kho diya, apni izzat bhi kho di, ab kuch nhi bacha!" He cries seeing Bondita. Anirudh and Bondita look at each other tearfully.
Everybody leaves. Anirudh and family too leaves . Bondita stands at the threshold and cries finding no way out. She was tensed for Sampoorna, as well as she was tensed for herself, her family and her future.
Bondita enters inside the house and everybody looks at her accusingly. She goes and falls down in Trilochan's feet crying. But he leaves for his room ignoring her. She goes near Shubhra who too leaves for her room. She tries to go near Anirudh, who looks at her with rage filled eyes and Bondita steps back in fear seeing the fury in those orbs in which she saw love a few days back!
After some time, the panchayat arrives at Roy Choudhury Haveli. The panch call for Trilochan and all other members of the family. The panch says," Trilochan babu aapki bahu ke karname se gaav mai hadkamp mach gaya hai, sab nyaay mang rahe hai. Naa chahte hue bhi hame Bondita malkin ka kuch karna hoga. Sabhi log yeh chahte hai ki Anirudh Babu, Bondita malkin ko Roy Choudhury Haveli se nikaal de." Anirudh and Bondita look on shocked. Trilochan says, "Gaav walo ki himmat kese hui Roy Choudhury ke mamle mai dakhal dene ki! Yaha koi nyaay nhi hoga!" The panch was about to leave dejected when Anirudh interupts, " Nyaay hoga, aur pure gaav walo ke beech hoga!"
