Bondita glares at Sampoorna and says, "Didi tu kya kar rahi hai? Tu jaanti hai na hum dono ki kis haalat mai shadi hui hai?" Sampoorna sighs and sits beside Bondita and says," Bondita tumhaari shaadi hona sirf ek ittefaq nhi, balki bhagwaan ki marzi hai. Bataya tha tere jamai Babu ne mujhe Anirudh Babu ke baare mai, unki baate sunte hue mujhe sirf tera khayal aaya. Tere aur unke vichaar bhi ek hi hai. Tu maane ya na maane, teri shadi ke pichhe bhagwaan ka bohot bada karan hai. Ab yeh tum dono par nirbhar karta hai ki tum kese uss karan ko dhundhte ho." Bondita looks down. Sampoorna adjusts her pallu and says," Roy Choudhury Bahu aap taiyaar ho gai hai. Aap jaa sakti hai." Both of them giggle and Sampoorna holds her hand and says,"Mai bhi ab chalti hu, ghar pe bohot sara kaam baki hai." Bondita nods. Sampoorna leaves.
Bondita steps downstairs and sees her Ksj completely immersed in his work. She goes to him and touches his feet. He gets startled and touches his chest over his pounding heart. He says, still horrified," Bahu kya kar rahi ho tum? Apne Ksj ko itni jldi swarg ke darshan karana chahti ho kya?" Bondita widens her eyes and says," Hey dugga ma! Ksj shubh shubh boliye, mai bhala esa kyu chahungi?" He says," Toh beta zara per chune se pehle bula leti." Bondita nods nervously. She says swiftly pinching her throat," Ksj maaf kar dijiye, mai aaj samay par nhi uth payi. Par pakka wada karti hu ki kal se samay par uthungi. Shotti!" He shakes his head and says," Koi baat nhi bahu, bataya tha hame Anirudh ne ki dawa ka asar tha isliye so rahi thi tum. Par kal se esa nhi hona chahiye." Bondita nods and was about to leave when Trilochan called her," Wese bahu, yaha zara haath dikhana." She goes to him and shows her palm. He says," Yeh angrezi doctor toh jaha dekho yeh safed patti bandh dete hai, 100-100 dawai likh dete hai. Tum thero, hamne Tulsipur ke sabse bade vaidya ji ko bulaya hai. Woh ek baar lep laga denge toh thik ho jaega. Aur koi dusra ulta asar bhi nahi hoga." He slowly caressed her palm and said, "Dukh raha hai kya bahu?" Bondita shakes her head with slight tears and a big smile etched on her face. Kaka pats her head and Bondita leaves.
It's evening, Anirudh returns from his work. He searches for Bondita in the whole house but is unable to find her. He sees Som and says," Som, Bondita kaha hai?" Som makes an irritated face and says," Pados ke ghar ki sushila kaki ke saath chat par dekha tha maine kuch der pehle." Anirudh runs to the terrace and sees the most adorable sight in front him. Bondita was making weird faces in front of a baby girl and she was giggling watching Bondita. Bondita says to her, "Anandita, Mera naam hai Bondita. Dekha tumne, ham dono ke naam ke ant mai ndita aata hai." Anandita giggles though she didn't understood even a single word of Bondita, but giggled seeing the big smile on Bondita's face. Bondita says," Achha, mujhe ek baat batao, dosti karogi mujhse?" Anandita nods and claps happily. God knows what excited her listening to Bondita. Bondita giggles and kisses Anandita on her cheek. Anandita giggles and forwards her other cheek. Bondita kisses on her other cheek too. Anandita and Bondita clap hands in excitement in the same way. Bondita says," Yeh bas Bondita ke dosto ke liye hai."
Anirudh smirks at the mischievous idea he had in his head and goes to the terrace. He shifts Anandita a little and forwards his cheek to Bondita. Bondita looks at him startled and with wide eyes. She says stuttering," Yeh... Yeh kya kar rahe hai aap?" He says with a fake sad face, "kya mai tumhara dost nhi hu?" Bondita says," nahi...., mera matlab aap toh mere Pakkam pakke wale dost hai." He again forwards his cheek and says," Bas isiliye. Tumne abhi hi toh kaha ki dost hu mai tumhara, toh do ab." Bondita widens her eyes even more if it was possible. She says," Kya du?" He says smiling," Kiss, cheek kiss, joh tumne abhi abhi Anandita ko di." Bondita's cheeks turns red and she gasps keeping a hand on her mouth. Anirudh looks at her flushed face and breaks into fits of laughter. Anandita giggles seeing Anirudh laugh. Bondita glares at both of them and Sushila comes on terrace. She greets Anirudh and takes Anandita back with her. Anandita cries holding onto Bondita's pallu but Bondita assures her that she will meet her soon.
Bondita looks at Anirudh frowning and tries to leave the terrace but he pulls her back. She says," Aap buddhu bana rahe the mujhe." Anirudh says teasingly, "Tum isliye gussa ho ki maine tumhe kiss nhi karne diya. Wese I don't mind!" He forwards his cheek again and Bondita pushes his face away. Bondita face palms herself and Anirudh breaks into fits of laughter. Bondita turns her face away and blows her mouth. He smiles at her antics and says," wese mai kuch aesi cheez laya hu, jisse dekhkar tumhara gussa apne aap pighal jaayega." Bondita looks at him and tries to speak with a blown mouth. She is unable to do so. Anirudh laughs at her and Bondita glares at him. He says," Bondita ab toh tum apna muh mat fulao. Pehle keh do joh tumhe kehna hai fir muh fula lena." She shakes her head and turns it on other side. Anirudh says," Achha toh ek kaam karte hai, tum jab bologi toh tumhari taraf se mai muh fula lunga. Thik hai?" Bondita thinks for a moment and then nods.
Anirudh blows up his mouth and Bondita realeases her breath. She says happily," Esa kya laaye hai aap, mujhe dikhaiye na." Anirudh tries to speak but is unable to do it with blown mouth. He indicates Bondita and Bondita blows up her mouth and he releases the breath he was holding.
He shuffles his bag and takes out a paper. He hands it to Bondita and Bondita's face gets etched with a beautiful smile and that blown up face was long forgotten by her. She looks at him with her eyes twinkling with tears. She says," College ka form? Aap last year ka Tulsipur Law College ka form le aaye?" He nods and Bondita stands up. She twirls around holding the form close to her chest. She looks up in the sky and smiles wide. She makes Anirudh stand and says," Aap jaante nhi hai aapne mere liye kya kiya hai. Yeh mere liye bohot maayne rakhta hai, shotti." She says pinching her throat. He smiles looking at her. She runs down and he follows her. She runs directly to the study and fetches a pen. She hands the pen to him to fill her form. He shakes his head on her excitement and sits to fill the form.
"Name?" "Bondita Anirudh Roy Choudhury". He smiles unknowingly on hearing his name with hers. "Age?" "20 years" "Gender?" "Male" . He looks at her wde eyed and she says," Jab aapko pata hai toh kyu pucha? Koi doubt hai aapko mere gender ka?" Anirudh shakes his head swiftly and fills the blank. "Father's Name?" "Achyut Das" "Mother's Name?" "Siya Achyut Das" "Date of Birth?" "25th April 1920" He sees the calendar and widens his eyes. He sees it was 26th April 1940. He looks at her and he says, his voice low and laced with guilt," Bondita tumne pehle kyu nhi bataya ki tumhara kal janmdin tha." Bondita looks at him and says," Ha, mai batana bhul gai thi." He looks at her amazed and says, "Tumhe apne janmdin ka excitement nahi tha? Janmadin manana nhi tha?". He wondered, he always saw Saudamini being excited for her birthday from a month before. He was not also a birthday person, but always celebrated it for the sake of his family. Bondita looks away and says," Jab janm dene wale hi saath nhi hai, toh janmdin banane ka kya fayda?" It hits Anirudh hard. He turns her face towards him by her chin and looks that she had some unshed tears floating in her eyes. She withdraws them back and says faking excitement," Aage bhariye na." They fill the form and Bondita leaves to get the dinner prepared by Koyeli.
