Days passed smoothly with Bondita trying to manage her college and home together, and also finding some time for her ownself.
She had full support of Anirudh and Shubhra from home, and Monica from college. Shubhra advised Bondita to focus on her studies and leave the home's responsibilities on her but Bondita was reluctant to do so. Trilochan was still not on talking terms with Anirudh and Bondita, and she didn't wanted to agitate him further by doing anything wrong.
His silence was killing Bondita, but she knew that he needed time for himself. He would come around as he finds his answers from his own solace.
College was no different, her day started with a cheerful Monica and ended with the same. Monica and her were getting closer with time, making Bondita realise how grateful she is for receiving a friend like Monica. She came to know that Monica was from a rich and influential British family of Tulsipur. They were very cautious of their culture and didn't like Bondita's friendship with Monica. But Monica being Monica, didn't care what others thought.
Also, Jim amused Bondita. He always tried talking to her but always got interuppted with a furious Pam pulling him along with her. Bondita sometimes even spotted them fighting making her feel guilty. Bondita even tried to talk out the matter with Jim hut he was adamant to know Bondita and become friends with her, stating Pam was no one to decide who he will talk to and who he will not.
Anirudh, our Bondita's 'beloved' husband, note my sarcasm, was rarely around. He was involved in a very influential and high profile case. He never wanted to take that case as he knew how much attention it will demand and also because his main concerns were females whose cases were not accepted by other barristers. But nothing could ever beat his dear father, it was his friend for whom Anirudh was fighting.
Shubhra and Bondita convinced Anirudh stating that it will be a big break in his career and it will certainly help him have some of his personal connections with high profile people and these connections will surely help him in his aims and goals.

Today was the final hearing in the court, Bondita was way too anxious on its result. Her face was etched with a worried look the whole day.
They were leaving for their home when Monica questions Bondita, "Bondita! What's the matter with you? Tell me na." Bondita sighs at her friend and says, "Today is final hearing of his case. If they didn't win, his client is adamant on applying to higher authorities which will stretch the matter further and increase his work pressure even more if possible. He rarely comes by me now a days. He comes way too late at home, and if he loses today, I don't think so he will be even coming home."
