Bondita wraps the novel in her pallu and was leaving for her room when she hears Tupur's strained voice. She follows the direction of the voice and sees Chandrachur holding Tupur's hand in a tight grip. If one wouldn't have seen Tupur's tear strained face, then they would have imagined something romantic instead.
Bondita rushes to Tupur and frees her hand from CC. CC stands back stunned at a loss of words. Tupur wipes her tears hastily as she looks at Bondita with a pleading look to not to create any chaos.
Bondita says sternly," Tupur, yaha kya chal raha hai?!" Tupur says," Kuch nhi Bondita, yeh hamare bich ki baat hai tu jaa!" Bondita says," Tupur! Jhut mat bol. Maine dekha tu ro rahi thi, kya ho raha hai yaha sach sach bata?"
Tupur says turning to CC," Aap jaiye, mai baat kar lungi Bondita se!" CC leaves nodding his head. Bondita tries to stop him but Tupur stops her. Bondita says to Tupur," Tupur tu khush hai na Teri shaadi se? Agar kuch bhi baat hai toh mujhe bata de tu! Mai baat karungi Thakumaa se!"
Tupur says sternly," Bondita, esi koi baat nhi hai! Mai bohot khush hu apne hone wale pati se aur meri shadi se. Hamare bich mai joh kuch hai woh hamare bich hi rahe the toh achha rahega!" Tupur leaves from there leaving Bondita stunned.
Tupur looks on at a dejected Bondita from behind the pillar, Mujhe maaf karna Bondita ese baat karne ke liye. Meri bohot badi majburi hai joh mai apko nhi bata sakti!
Bondita leaves for her room dejected, not satisfied with Tupur's answer. She knew something was wrong, but Tupur clearly mentioned that she won't like Bondita's interference in Tupur's marital life.
Anirudh who was waiting in the room, all ready to tease Bondita for whatever he heard, looks at a dejected Bondita entering the room. He notices the disturbed look on her face. Bondita keeps the book in her bag and leaves for the washroom without even sparing him a glance.
Bondita goes in the washroom and washes her face to remove Tupur's tear stricken face from her mind. She comes out wiping her face but frowns looking at the empty bed. Her gaze falls on a mattress which was laid down on the floor.
Bondita gasps as Anirudh scares her from behind. She clutches her heart in fear and says," Kya kar rahe hai aap? Darr gayi na mai!" Anirudh laughs at her scared face, trying to soothe her tension.
Bondita adores him laughing his wits out, as a smile spreads on her face. She notices how he squeezes his eyes, how cutely his nose scrunches, how he clutches his stomach, how his messy hair fall on his forehead as he laughs.
Out of instinct Bondita steps towards him with a small smile and brushes his hair from his forehead. Anirudh stops laughing as he looks at Bondita standing closer to him. Bondita looks down on feeling the intense gaze as her eyes matches with his.
She turns to leave out of shyness but Anirudh pulls her wrist and her back hits his chest. Anirudh wraps one of his arm around her and whispers in her ear, lowering down to her height," So, looks like Bondita is back to normal!"
