She was looking at her reflection in the mirror admiring her hair, which looked more pretty after Thakumaa's hair oiling remedy. She picks up the smoke pot to dry her hair when her eyes fall on her husband's reflection who was gazing at her with a smile standing at the room's door. Bondita blushes profusely looking at him coming closer and closer. He gently pulls her closer by her waist, as Bondita's back hits his chest. He takes the smoke pot from her hand and gently dries her hair, making sure not to hurt her.
Bondita looks at him from the mirror adorably. He feels the intense gaze on himself and looks in the mirror matching her gaze. He turns back Bondita in a swift motion and pulls her close. Bondita gasps holding his suspenders. He inches closer to her and Bondita shuts her eyes tightly feeling shy.
She hears someone's faint sound calling her out," Didi, utho, Thakumaa ne dekh liya na toh kher nhi." Bondita comes about of her dreamland and sits on the bed with jerk. It scares Tapur who takes few steps back looking at her sister's weird behaviour. Bondita touches her lips which felt normal and dry, maybe.
Tapur looks at her with a frown and says," Kya hua, yeh apne hoth kyu chu rahi ho?" Bondita removes her hands abruptly and runs for a bath ignoring Tapur. Tapur looks at her with a frown.
Bondita who came Krishnanagar previous evening was introduced to her paternal family, which just consisted of ladies. Bondita was given the biggest room in the haveli, that too with a balcony, that infuriated Tupur and Rimjhim, Tapur's sister and mother respectively.
Also, previous night Bondita told Thakumaa everything about her sasuraal including Mini, which sowed a seed of doubt in Thakumaa's mind, but she kept quiet so that she could first analyse the situation and then react. She was also infuriated knowing how much Bondita had to suffer due to the RCs.
Whereas Anirudh who had to return back to Tulsipur to get Heeramandi girls settled, was not talking to anyone. The family's heart pained looking at his condition but they were helpless because if their Anirudh's pain was true, then Bondita's anger and pain was true and justified too. Saudamini tried to fill Anirudh's head with negative thoughts against Bondita, but he asked her to leave him alone politely.
Next day, Trilochan notices Anirudh leaving all dressed up for somewhere. He goes to him and asks," Anirudh kaha jaa rahe ho?" Anirudh says," KrishnaNagar, Bondita ko lene!" Trilochan worries and says," Nhi, tum nhi jaa sakte ho waha! Chalo wapis andar! Yaad nhi ki Thakumaa ne kya kaha tha ki koi Bondita ko nhi mil sakta jab tak unki ijazat na ho toh!"
Anirudh says, "Nahi kaka, mai waha jaunga aur Bondita ko wapis laaunga, kisi ke kehne se mujhe koi fark nhi padhta. Koi kuch bhi kahe, Bondita meri patni hai aur usse mai wapis lekar hi aaunga."
Trilochan says," Ha, toh hum bhi chalenge tumhara saath, akele nhi jaane denge tumhe uss khatarnak aurat ke ghar!" He murmurs the last part under his breath.
Bondita who was sweeping the garden, all lost in her thoughts, gasps as she feels mud on herself. She looks forward and looks at Tapur laughing freely.
