Bondita hugs Anirudh as soon as they enter their room. Bondita mutters uncountable sorries as they get muffled in the hug.
He parts from her by pushing her shoulders gently. He cups her face and says," Ab mujhe sab batao yeh kya chal raha hai?!"
Bondita stays silent for a moment, then says, "I am sorry, Maine aapse puche bina itna bada faisla le liye! Kal galti se apke telephone ki line Das Bari mai connect ho gai thi, mai aapse kehna chahti thi yeh sab, par sabkuch itni jaldi hua ki maine aapse puche bina woh job offer accept kar liya!"
Anirudh looks at a side, hell confused, but says sighing," Bondita mai sach janna chahta hu, yeh kahani nhi!"
Bondita looks at him with a frown and says, "Sach, kesa sach? Yahi sach hai. Aur mera vishwaas kijiye, I won't let you regret this. Mai joh bhi kar rahi hu woh hamare achhe ke liye hai! Hmm?"
Anirudh nods reluctantly as he looks at her expectant face.

They all get ready for the evening function they had arranged in memory of Bondita's father. Bondita was getting ready, all lost in her thoughts when she feels two hands slip on her waist.
She gasps as Anirudh pulls her closer in a back hug. He places his head on her shoulder gently kissing her cheek whispering," Beautiful! So beautiful!"
Bondita gives him a weak smile from the mirror as she continues getting ready. He turns her around and says cupping her face," I trust you Bondita, isliye I am letting you do anything you want. Agar tum chahti ho ki ham London jaaye, toh ham jayenge! Just promise me you won't let me down!"
Bondita smiles as she holds his hands and says assuring him," I won't!" Making Anirudh smile.

Bondita looks at the Roy Choudhury's as they enters Das Bari after greeting Thakumaa. She looks at them scared of their reactions. She comes out of her thoughts as she feels a pat on her head.
She looks at Trilochan patting her head affectionately with slight tears in his eyes, he says," Jaana chahti ho na tum London, jaao! Hame koi pareshani nhi, par apne Ksj ko waha jaakar bhul mat jana! Hmm?"
Bondita nods happily as she hugs him tight making him go all awkward. He awkwardly pats her back as Thakumaa facepalms herself looking at the duo.
Shubhra comes to Bondita and says, "Mai aur tumhara Ksj dukhi the tumhare jaane se. Par hame inhone samjhaya ki kyu zaruri hai tumhara jaana. Aur meri baat mano ab tumhare jaane se hamse zyada koi khush nhi hai, Shotiii!"
Bondita gives a teary smile to her as Shubhra takes her in a bear hug.
Saudamini watches the family drama from a side smirking at the forecoming events.
Everybody gets engaged in the guests as Bondita stands at a side looking at the pictures of her maa baba.
She remembers how she used be even more excited for her parents' birthday rather than her own. How she would bake cakes, decorate the home, play games and call their friends for a small get together.
