I went from never seeing Jayden to seeing him every single day. He would be there waiting for me after my classes and would wait for me after practices. It made me feel so special and then he'd take me out to eat or to do other various activities.

That first week was heavenly and yet I tell you it was also so sinful because more often than not we'd end up in a heated make out session that would result in me on my back or with my back against a wall. Perhaps it was too intense and too much too soon but when his lips met mine, I felt like I may go limp. It was intoxicating. He was intoxicating.

I remember the date we went on at the end of that first week because he had asked me where I'd like to go, and I said the movies. I sort of had figured that we'd go to the loveseat one like Addie and I had which would possibly lead to more kisses and more of Jayden. I have no idea why, but we never would get further than kissing. I'm not sure if it was Jayden who didn't want to cross that line or me that didn't want to cross it. That doesn't mean we didn't get hot and heavy because we did.

After the movie was over, we went back to his house at his urging. "Come on Zach. Let's go to my house."

I chewed my lip. "Jay, I want to, but I have hom-" My reason for being uncertain was silenced by his lips against mine and his hands roaming over my body.

I'm guessing you've probably realized that I went with him but after he had a few drinks he fell asleep. So, I put a blanket over him and went back to my dorm.

I took a seat at my desk and started on my homework because it didn't matter how much I craved Jayden, homework and school had to come first. Out of the two of us, Jayden didn't seem to grasp that concept.

After I woke up the next morning, I had three missed calls from him and like ten unread texts. I felt sick to my stomach. I didn't want him to decide that he didn't want me. So, I quickly called him, chewing my lip. He picked up almost immediately.

"What the hell Zach? You just up and left without telling me?"

My heart cracked a little, but I softly replied, "I-I-I'm sorry Jay. I had homework and you were asleep. I did put a blanket over you."

He wasn't happy about it at all and I wanted to make it up to him.

After practice on Tuesday night, I saw him sitting in his car and hurried over knocking softly on his window. "Jay?"

He surprised me by locking the doors, backing up, and driving away.

I hung my head and walked back to my dorm running into Adam on the way, who could tell something was wrong. "Zach? What's wrong?"

I looked at Adam and gestured. "Can we talk in my room?"

Adam nodded. "Of course."

What I didn't realize as Adam and I walked to our dorm was that Jayden had come back and was walking towards the dorm as well but when he saw me with Adam he stopped in his tracks. I guess he thought I was with Adam but as you know Ad has a girlfriend.

After I got to my room with Adam following shortly after I received a text from Jayden as I was changing out of my practice clothes.

[Jayden]
Zach, I don't understand you at all. I was under the impression that you wanted to be with me but then you are walking with another guy, and he hugs you. So what is your deal?
