"You sure had one hell of a homecoming, didn't you?" Tony asked

"You sure had one hell of a homecoming, didn't you?" Tony asked. After everything that happened with the Vulture at homecoming, I called Tony to come and pick me up while Happy took Peter home.

"It was something," I said before looking out the window.

"First big mission with your friend."

"Boyfriend." I felt the car jerk a bit. I grabbed the car seat so I wouldn't get thrown as Tony tried to steady the car again. "What?"

"Nothing. Never thought I'd hear those words coming from your mouth." Tony grinned. "My Rae Rae's all grown up."

I gave him a blank look. "You know I've dated before, right?"

Tony pondered at the thought. "No, not really. I like to think I had a little help setting you two up."

"But you didn't."

"Pretty sure I did." He held a finger up. "Who's the one who sought this kid out?"

"You did."

He held another finger up. "And who's the one who kept him as an 'intern'?"

"You did."

"And who's the one who keeps leaving you two alone while he goes off to run some errands?"

I sighed. "You did. But I don't see the point in these questions."

"I'm you're cupid is what I'm trying to say. Told you he makes you happy. You were just being too stubborn and...well you...to see it."

"And when did you notice, all great and powerful matchmaker?" I asked sarcastically.

"When he made you laugh." I raised my brow. "You've been living with me for a while and I have never heard you laugh, not even a chuckle. He just shows up and you laugh within five minutes because he tripped."

"So what?"

Tony waved his hand around. "You've seen a lot of us fall and have - what do those kids call it? - epic fails. When that happens, you just shrug off." I rolled my eyes before looking out the window again. "I know you don't need to hear this from anyone but..." I looked back when I felt his hand on my shoulder. Tony smiled at me and said, "I approve of you two."

"You're right...I didn't need to hear it."

"And you just ruined this father-daughter moment."

He was about to take his hand off but I grabbed it. "Thanks though. I don't tell you this a lot, Tony. I really appreciate everything you've done for me."

"Come here," Tony said. He reached over his seat and wrapped his arms around me for a hug. "No matter what happens, I'll always be there for you, kiddo." Suddenly, we heard this car honking before it sped around us. I forgot Tony was at a stop sign. "We were having a moment!" He shook his head before he continued driving. "Rude."
