You were looking around on your phone until you come across an Instagram post. You read the caption multiple times and looked at the picture for a few moments. 'Is Cobie Smulders dating her co-star? They were spotted in a cafe together! Is Cobie not loyal to y/n?' Is what the text said. You first thought it was some sick joke but when the insecurities came flooding, you felt like it was true and that she didn't want you anymore.

At the moment, Cobie was on a business trip so you couldn't talk to her about it, and you didn't call since you didn't want to disturb her. You sighed and decided to get some fresh air to clean your head. You wandered around for a while and stopped at a local cafe, just outside. When you saw who sat inside, your eyes widened. The tears started to appear when you saw that Cobie was sitting with someone, but you couldn't see the face. You immediately turned your heel and wandered back to the apartment.

Once you got back, you closed the door and pressed yourself up against it, letting yourself fall to the floor with the tears running down your eyes. You took out your phone and messaged Cobie.

I know that this is so sudden and that

Cobie looked down at her phone for a few moments, realizing that you weren't going to answer. She sighed and placed her phone in her pocket and stood herself up.

"I have to go." she said. "Y/N sent me a breakup message, something must've happened."

"What? Why would she do that?"

"I don't know, but I'm going to figure it out." Cobie said and left the cafe in hurry. She didn't know why, but she knew about that when your insecurities came flooding, that you thought that she didn't want you anymore and that was probably the reason.

Once she arrived, she opened the door, to her surprise it was unlocked. She got inside and closed the door behind her, but didn't spot you anywhere. Cobie got to the bedroom and opened the door, seeing you lay there with red and puffy eyes and some tears going down your face.

"Y/N?" she called out softly and your head shot up to hers. You immediately sat yourself up and looked away from her. She sighed and went over to the bed and sat herself down, you moving away from her. "Y/N, what did I do? Why did you break up? Is it your insecurities again because-"

"It's not because of just that." you mumbled and she looked at you. "I saw this post on instagram, with you and your co-star and the caption said that you were dating her. I didn't want to believe it but my insecurities came and I got out to get some fresh air. But I saw you with some girl in a cafe."

"Y/N, you know I'd never cheat." she said and you still didn't look at her, to notice her teary eyes. "It's just rumors, I'm not dating my co-star. And the girl you saw in the cafe was y/f/n."

"Y/f/n?" you said and looked at her. She gave a nod and you let out a breath.

"I was asking them for advice." Cobie said and you gave a questioning look, which made Cobie giggle.

"A-advice on what? You know me very well about now." you said and Cobie smiled.

"I was asking about advice on how I should propose to you." she said and you froze. She got a hold of your hand and squeezed it gently. "I want to marry you, Y/N."

"W-what? I- what have I done..?" you mumbled and placed your head in your free hand, since Cobie was still holding one of your hands. "Why me? Out of all people in the world, why me?"

"Because I love you, Y/N. More than anything in the world." she said and you looked at her, not noticing that you both had leaned in. "May I?"

You gave a nod and she captured her lips with yours in a loving kiss, your arms going around her neck as her hands went to your waist. After a moment, you both pulled away and she gave you a smile.

"So, will you marry me, Y/N Y/M/N Y/L/N?" she asked and you nodded your head.

"Of course I will, Jacoba Francisca Maria Smulders." you said and she chuckled at the full name. "I'm so sorry for the breakup over the text."

"Shh, it's in the past now, it's okay." she reassured you and you gave her a peck on the lips. "I love you."

"I love you too."
