Cobie sighed as she closed the front door and locked it, it being very dark in the house. She had just come home from being on set and she was home more later than she thought. Figuring that you were already asleep, she carefully made her way to the bedroom but stopped once she spotted you on the couch, a blanket over you as the tv were on but with no sound on. Cobie smiled sweetly as she went over to you, turned off the tv and picked you up in bridal style, trying not to wake you up.

"Mm..." you mumbled as you snuggled closer to her, Cobie giggling quietly. Due to it being dark in the house, Cobie had to watch her step so she wouldn't fall over something. Once she reached your shared bedroom, she carefully placed you down on the bed and placed the covers over your body and gave you a kiss on the head.

She went over to her side of the bed and turned on the small lamp on the side table, taking off her shoes as well as her clothes and put on a t-shirt to sleep in. Once she was finished, putting away the clothes and shoes, she climbed under the covers and turned off the light, wrapping her arms around your waist from behind. But it didn't take long for you to turn around and open your eyes slowly, them being almost black due to the lack of brightness in the room.

"You're late..." you mumbled in a very tired voice. Cobie smiled and held you closer, you placing your head on her chest. "You said you'd be home earlier..."

"I know, baby. I'm sorry." she said and stroked the back of your head with her palm, playing with your hair between her fingers.

"Don't apologize, it's alright." you said and your eyes closed again, drifting off to sleep. Cobie looked down and smiled when she saw that you were sleeping again. She placed another kiss on your head before drifting off to sleep as well.

"Goodnight, my love." was the last thing she said before she fell into deep slumber.
