You were sitting in the living room at your aunt, Cobie's house, you were going to stay there for the night because Cobie wanted you to. Janita and Shaelyn were watching Encanto on the tv, you looking up at the tv a few times but your face were mostly looking at the couch. Your legs were pressed up against your chest while you were sat in the corner, your cousins sitting in the middle.

Cobie was standing by the doorframe to the living room, looking at you. She sensed that something was wrong since you had only been sitting there since you came. Even during dinner, you looked quite down and Cobie had asked if something was wrong but you just shook her off.

"I'm worried." Cobie said once Taran appeared beside her. He looked over at you then back at Cobie. "She hasn't said anything since she came. It's been a simple 'hi' to all of us but nothing else."

"Try and talk to her. From what I've noticed, you're the one she trusts the most. Maybe she'll talk to you if you're both alone." Taran suggested and Cobie sighed.

"Y/N?" she called out and you looked up at her. She gestured you to follow her. "Come."

You slowly stood up from the couch and walked over to her. She took your hand and led you towards hers and Taran's shared bedroom, closing the door before placing herself down on the bed as you sat in front of her.

"Honey, are you okay? You've been pretty down since you arrived." she said and you nodded your head. She obviously didn't believe you. "I won't judge you. You can talk to me about anything, you know that."

"I know, I just-" you buried your face in your hands, sighing. Cobie looked sadly at you. Realizing you weren't going to say anything, she pulled you into a hug, placing you on her lap as she held you and your head was on her chest.

"You don't have to tell me now. But I will always be here for you." she said and stroked your head and you nodded.

"I know. Thank you." you whispered and she smiled slightly.

"No need to thank me."

I pretty much had that convo with my aunt 20 minutes ago since I've been feeling down the past weeks, if not months.
