I know that some of you are taller than Cobie but let's pretend your not in this.

You closed the door, sighing as you still heard the music from behind it. You looked around and saw that you were in some kind of guest room. You eventually walked over to the bed and sat yourself down, head in one hand. When you heard the door slowly open, you looked up and saw Cobie peeking through the door. Her eyes landed on you and she walked inside, closing the door behind her.

"Hey, I saw you run in here. Are you okay?" she asked as she walked over and sat herself beside you. You looked at her and shrugged, playing with your fingernails. "Do you need a hug or something or do you just wanna be left alone?"

She was caught by surprise when you threw your arms around her waist, her falling back on the bed. She stared at you with wide eyes and very pink cheeks, but eventually she slowly took her arms around you.

"Is the music too loud or something?" she asked and you nodded your head slowly. "Ah, why don't we...get out outta here? You seem a bit stressed. I know a good place."

You looked at her, noticing that she had taken out her hand for you to take. You took one last glimpse at her before taking it and she smiled. She stood up and walked outside, still holding your hand. When the music got louder, assuming you were outside of the room, you placed your free hand on your ear while covering the other with the help of Cobie's arm. She stopped walking when the two of you got outside and you stopped covering your ears.

"Isn't this nicer? No music." she chuckled. "I like it out here."

She looked at you, seeing the small smile that spread across your lips. You noticed her stare and looked up, raising an eyebrow.

"Cobie...are you alright?" you asked which snapped her out of her thoughts.

"Huh? Oh, yeah, I'm fine." she said and looked away, slowly letting go of your hand. "Um, I got a question for you."

"What's up?" you asked with a small smile. Cobie looked at you and scratched the back of her neck, you noticing she was nervous.

"I know you're still coming down from your stress but this is the only time I got you alone...so here goes nothing." she said and you looked at her with a questioning look. "I like you...like more than a friend... and if you're willing, can I take you out on a date? Just one! If it doesn't work, we can go back to being friends, it's fine."

"Cobie, calm down. I feel the same." you said and she looked at you. You gave a small smile.

"You...feel the same way? Um, can I kiss you?" she said but regretted it immediately as she smacked her mouth with her palm, you raising both eyebrows and your eyes went wide. "I am so sorry. I don't know where that came from, the words just jumbled out. I think it was because I was really happy that you felt the same way and I really wanna kiss you..."

You stood there, unable to form words. Cobie started to panic inside and her eyes were a bit wide.

"Am I making you uncomfortable? Did I make you uncomfortable? Am I making you uncomfortable? Oh my god I made her uncomfortable..." she whispered the last part to herself, taking a deep breath. "I shouldn't have said that. I said that way too early, I asked way too early. I didn't mean to and I'm sorry if I made you uncomfortable, I'm so sorry and I-"

She was cut off by you kissing her lips. Her eyes went wide and they were still wide when you pulled away, smiling softly.
