You were sleeping in yours and your girlfriend's bed. You started to stir awake and yawned before opening your eyes slowly. When you were fully awake, you tried to get out of the bed but couldn't as you felt a pair of strong arms wrapped around your waist. You looked over your shoulder to see a peacefully Maria Hill sleeping. You smiled at how peaceful she looked.

Maria had been working a lot more than usual. Sometimes she wasn't home when you woke up and you were already asleep when she'd come home. Today was her day off and you were happy about that, because you finally had a chance to spend a day with your girlfriend.

You turned so you were facing her. But she still had her arms wrapped around your waist, hard but still soft may I add.

"You're staring..." she mumbled. You laughed and kissed her forehead.

"I was admiring. Staring and admiring are two different things," you said. Maria didn't respond, just snuggled closer to you, making you laugh.

"Maria, you have to let me go. I'm going to fix with breakfast," you said.

"You're warm. Another five minutes, please?" she whispered. You sighed but nodded, wrapping your arms around Maria. She let go of your waist and made herself more comfortable in your embrace, placing her head on your chest.

You stroked her brown hair and played with it, making small twirls with it. Maria softly sighed into your chest and smiled before drifting back to sleep. You kissed the top of her head before drifting back to sleep yourself.
