[ happy birthday Cobie I love youuuuu. short but I had to write something for her b-day ]

Half of the day had gone and Cobie hadn't heard a 'happy birthday' from you yet. She was starting to worry that you had forgotten her birthday. But little did she know, you hadn't forgotten it because you had a surprise for her.

"You honestly don't know what day it is?" Cobie asked you as she walked into the kitchen where she saw you closing the fridge, holding a glass of juice in your hand. You looked at your girlfriend and shook your head.

"I don't. Do you have an interview or something?" you questioned and Cobie pouted at you. You didn't know how long you could hold yourself, since seeing Cobie pout and questioned a lot if you knew what day it was.

"We've been together for three years, you can't seriously say you forgot," Cobie stated. You sighed and placed down the glass of juice on the counter and walked up to her, placing some of her short hair behind her ear.

Realizing that you couldn't hold yourself anymore, you grabbed something from the pocket of the sweatpants you were wearing which didn't go unnoticed by Cobie as she eyed the box. You held up the box for her to take it, which she hesitantly did.

"I wanted to wait for later but you're being impatient." you grinned and Cobie rolled her eyes before opening the small velvet box. In it was a small ring, causing Cobie to look up at you. "I didn't forget your birthday, love. I wanted it to be a surprise, I wanted to propose to you."

"Have I- Did I ruin it?" she asked and you shook your head as your hands went to hold hers. You gave her a warm smiled and pressed your lips against hers.

"Of course not, I still want to marry you. I don't want to do a full speech so, will you marry me?" you asked as you pulled away. Cobie giggled and nodded her head.

"Yes, I will marry you," she said and you smiled.

"Happy birthday, my love," you said and kissed her again. The kiss escalated quickly and the both of you ended up having sex for a while.
