'IT'S EATING OUR LASERS??'

How?

Y/N furrowed her brows, her heart beginning to pound faster. What to do, what to do. She currently had no sword to defend herself so she rose her fists and tightened them.

"And we're taking the girl".

Me?

Before anyone could react, two sentries grabbed onto Y/N and pushed her towards the galra commander. He smirked maliciously before running a finger up her shoulder.

"Emporer Zarkon will be mightily pleased with our find".

Keith was the first to yell "Let her go!" His sword waved in the air as he bared his teeth to glare at Vrex.

"I wouldn't try such foolish tactics". Vrex replied, his slightly monotone voice raised slightly whilst his chest swelled with pride.

A hard, armoured foot kicked the back of Y/N's legs, forcing the teen to crash onto her knees and hiss sharply in pain.

"Ow, What did I do?! I don't even know who you are!" Y/N exclaimed, eyes watering slightly in agony.

"Don't try and trick me Corintha, we're several steps ahead of you" Sentries began to hold their blasters threateningly as Vrex spoke.

"Though I wonder how you've managed to stay so youthful all these years and de-age several years Zarkon has displayed an extremely high bounty for your capture and the slaughtering of the paladins".

Oh, so this is what it was all about.

"Y/N is not Corintha! Just let her go and we'll leave-"

In response, Vrex placed a hand on Y/N's shoulder and forced her arm up and began to twist on it. Hard. As much as she would have loved to contain her agony a small scream left her lips.

Unfortunately, in her non-dominant hand was Kevin, in all the clamour Y/N had dropped it. So far, no one had noticed as it was a dull purple and had yet to catch the attention of any of the sentries.

"QUIET!" Vrex roared, turning to a currently fuming Keith and glaring paladins, Shiro took action and pulled the red paladin back and hissed something at him (to which he calmed down slightly but continued to stand stiffly, eyes never leaving Y/N).

"I've grown tired of this insolence. Guards, put them out of their misery".

Oh, oh shit.

However, before the paladins would meet their miserable end, a roar sounded outside of the giant cube. In the gargantuan window, the green lion peered through, its yellow eyes gleaming as Pidge's voice rang throughout the paladins' helmets.

"Your ride is here!"

In a moment of stunned anger, the commander looked in shock, letting his guard down just in time for Y/N to swiftly kick at his feet and cause him to fall backwards.

Her eyes drifted to Kevin (who was just in front of her feet). The teen felt her eyes widen as she scrambled to pick it up and run towards it.

"Let's go!" Hunk yelled, already blasted his way through soldiers and was ready to leave immediately (the remaining members of the team followed suit in a matter of seconds).

"Unhand me!" Lubos yelled, still willing to struggle in the midst of the battalion of Olkari. Y/N flashed the male a stiff glare to quell his squeals.

Very much shocked at the sight, Ryner looked at the Paladins, Lubos then back to the paladins as the Olkari gathered around the group gasped in disbelief.

"What's going on, Lubos?"

"While your countrymen starved, King Lubos was well taken care of by the Galra. He willingly helped them build that cube, willingly helped to enslave his own people." Shiro replied, his own disappointed glower aimed at Lubos.

Gasps of shock filled the air, Olkari of all natures shook their heads in anger (understandably so).

Y/N planted a foot onto Lubos' back before launching him to the ground (ignoring his deep scream of discomfort).

Eat dirt, bitch.

"I know you're devastated" Shoro started, attempting to calm the confused and angry crowd.

"But use your olkarion spirit so we can defeat the galra!"

Clearly convinced by the compelling speak, the Olkari cheered loudly and raised their fists in the air.
