After an hour (which felt like an eternity) Sarah called us down for dinner. The smell carried me down. My mouth watered at the sight of delicious sandwiches... As everyone took their seats, Carla sat beside me and said, more like squeaked, "I did it!"

"Really? That's awesome!" I said. She was telling me about her conversation with Adam after he stormed off. Things had gone well. "And, I wanted to say. You have every right to be mad at me."

"I'm not mad. I was a bit angry but it vanished. But I do have a challenge for you." she grinned. There it was. Her oldest way of getting back at me. But I deserved it.

I sighed in defeat and said, "Okay, tell me."

"Prank Tristan."

"What?"

"Yup, do it."

"Prank him? How?"

"I don't know. You're the one who's gonna do it." she said and started eating. I thought of all the pranks I had ever done or seen. Again, none came to my rescue. So I decided to go with the classic old you-have-something-on-your-face prank. I dipped my fingertip into some ketchup and wiped the back so that he wouldn't notice. I cleared my throat and controlled the grin my lips were posing.

"Tristan, you have ketchup on your face." I said in a steady voice. He raised his eyebrows and used his hand to wipe a random place on his face. I took my secretly ketchup-ed finger and smeared it across his cheek and said, "There! It's gone." I tried my best to hide my laughter but a little smile escaped my lips.

"What?" he asked.

"Nothing, you just looked funny with the ketchup on." I covered up. Everyone silently giggled and did their best to not let Tristan know that he was pranked. After a few moments of silent laughter, Tristan asked, "What's going on?"

"Nothing," I said.

"No, really. Why are you guys laughing? If you tell me, then I can join you. I hate to be left out in conversations."

I started laughing so hard. Everyone joined me and Sarah stared at us with an are-you-kidding-me-this-is-not-funny look.

"Are you gonna fill me in or not?" Tristan asked in a frustrated voice.

"Okay, okay. My stomach's actually hurting after laughing so hard." I said as I stopped laughing.

"Go on."

"Three words. I.Pranked.You."

"Wh-How?"

"You know, you've really got something on your face." I said. He immediately stood up and went towards the nearest mirror and took a look. The amusement on his face was unbelievable. He came back and scoffed. He then said, "Oh my god, Kyra! Ugh, I can't believe that I let you prank me."

"As I said, you are really really gullible." I said and everyone laughed. He scoffed as he picked his dishes up and walked into the kitchen. I did the same thing as well. I put the dishes into the sink and turned to find a grinning Tristan. Oh no. That wasn't good at all. He grabbed the ketchup and smeared a good amount on my face. I laughed as I tried to push him away. Before I pushed him away, he got a good amount of ketchup on my face. I kicked him in his leg and washed my face. I wiped my face in a towel and returned to the table to find it empty. The lights were off and it was really dark. I took out my phone and turned on the torch. No one was there.

"Guys?" I asked but was rewarded with silence. "Great! I don't even know where the light switches are." I mumbled as I tried locating them. I heard some noise. A weird screeching one. I took several steps back. I shined the flashlight towards the direction the noise came from but there was nothing there. A plate fell down and shattered sending me one big step back and I bumped into something really big. I let out a little scream and turned. "Who's there?" A face as shocked as me, stared at me.
