...
Still Niran's P.O.V.
"Well?" I asked impatiently.
Evanora sighed and let go of Katherine's hand.
"Well, I can for sure say she's connected to your sister." She answered, confirming my suspicions.
I took in a shaky breath.
Alina...
"But I'll have to go back to the cavern to grab a few things so I can comprehend all of this thoroughly." She said, letting go of Katherine's hand and standing up. "See ya in a bit." She added and wanished in thin air.
I swatted the smoke away and looked at Katherine.
How and why are you connected to her...
...
Katherine's P.O.V.
I groaned and turned to the side.
Damn headache.
I laid on my stomach and buried my face in my pillow.
"Finally." Said an unfamiliar female voice.
I forced my eyes to open and looked at the source of the voice. And sure enough, a young woman was sitting on a chair next to me.
"Hi." She greeted with a big smile.
I just continued to stare at her as I slowly sat up.
"Who are you?" I asked in confusion, sleep still present in my voice.
"I can see why she's connected to Alina. No manners at all." The woman grumbled as she turned around to glare at someone.
I follow her gaze and saw Niran leaning on the wall across from me, his arms crossed and his face emotionless. I quickly straightened up and glared at him.
"You have guts for glaring at a dragon." The woman said in amusement.
"She probably knows I can't do anything to her because she's pregnant." Niran grumbled in annoyance.
My glaring turned into confusion.
"Oh yeah. You dragons do have that weird rule." The woman said in acknowledgement.
"It's not weird." Niran growled angrily. "Our females are protected by it. No dragon can ignore it because we'd get a severe punishment if we so much as put a scratch on them." He added sharply.
"Yeah, yeah." The woman dismissed him with her hand and turned around to look at me. "You sneaky little. Using your babies as protection." She added with a playful smirk.
"What are you talking about?" I asked through gritted teeth.
All this nonsense is just making me more and more angry.
"Don't try to deny it. I can feel it even from here." She said with a grin. "And I can tell they're gonna be a handful." She added with a chuckle.
"They?" I said in confusion.
What is she talking about?
The woman looked at me for a few seconds then turned her gaze to Niran.
"I think she really doesn't know." She said with a more serious tone.
Niran moved his eyes on me and it looked like he was studying my face.
"I don't know what?" I asked impatiently.
The woman looked at me again and sighed.
"You're pregnant." She repeated her words from earlier, making my eyes widen. "With twins." She added now making my jaw drop.
