You were impatient to start planning since you had four days until Toman versus Valhalla.
When you were finished at Olee's, the three of you retreated to Shinichiro-kun's bike shop where you all lived together.
The outside looked abandoned, the window on the door was taped up, there was graffiti with the words, "Shinichiro-kun Forever" and "Long Live the Boss" on the garage door. The front window wall was covered with scrap metal sheets and old plywood.
Looking abandoned was the point. No one would bother you if it looked unoccupied.
You stepped through the threshold and took a deep breath, full of nostalgia. It had been years since you were last here. Even longer since you were here with Koko in tow.
Your eyes began to mist over as you took in your teenage home. There were band and biker posters on the walls, the dinosaur of a plasma screen tv in the makeshift living room with an old school Nintendo 64. You looked down the hall where there was an office which served as your guys' bedroom.
You were suddenly shoved out of the doorway, catching yourself before you fell on your face.
"What is with you two today?" Koko huffed as he marched to the couch and threw himself onto it like a total drama queen, kicking his legs over the arm rest.
Inui sighed and sat on the couch adjacent to Koko's, "I don't know," He said with a pensive look, "I don't feel like myself."
You watched him look at his thumb intently as you stood in silence.
Was he changed by your.... time travel?
Did something happen to him because you were holding hands when you died?
It was obvious your situations were different. Your friend was confused and had foggy memories he didn't recognize of a life this Inui hadn't lived yet.
You trailed to the bedroom the three of you shared and opened the office door. The room was small, but was big enough you three could section off separate spaces with shoji screens.
You walked to the end of the folding walls and saw your space cordoned off by a black curtain designed with Sakura flowers. You walked through the slit in the middle and saw you small sleeping space.
You had a red rolled futon with a kimono rack to the side and a clothes rack. That's it. You had a small space with a few knick-knacks. About a million tiny kodama, a slinky, countless kitty erasers and two tiny cacti. Next to it you had two pair of knuckles, one brass and the other made of plastic.
You just stood in this space and inhaled the scent of Kokonoi's nag champa incense. You were home for the first time in what felt like a lifetime. You continued to be bathed in comfort, trying to rise up the courage to tell the boys you were from the future.
You inhaled once more, letting the incense calm you, turned and left the bedroom, entering the main living space.
You stood in front of the whiteboard and grabbed a few different colored markers. You looked over your shoulder and saw the boys watching you.
You decided ripping off the Band-Aid would be for the best.
"Okay, so the Bloody Halloween is upon us," You wrote [Bloody Halloween] in blue, then under it you wrote Baji and Kazutora in red.
"In four days, Kazutora will kill Baji, then Mikey will kill Kazutora. In the end Valhalla will join Toman."
You drew an arrow then wrote [Christmas Conflict] in blue, with Mitsuya-kun and Taiju's names in red. Your hand shook slightly at the sight of his name-
