They were even cuter than you remembered. Mana and Luna were such sweet little girls, their happy innocence in tact being with their very alive big brother.

Their very alive big brother who was looking at you with distrust. You couldn't blame him for his feelings, you could only try to sway his opinion of you.

Mana, cute with her little odango buns, was holding your right hand, while Luna in her twin tails, was holding your left hand.

They were currently begging their brother to let 'Onee-san' come for lunch.

"Yeah, Aniki~, lunch is on me," You gave a close eyed grin.

His younger sisters unknowingly painted him into a corner.

"I-"

"Aniki!!!"

You watched his inner war displayed in the wideness of his eyes.

You take a step closer to him, Hakkai flinching from your sudden movement.

"It's okay Mitsuya-kun, Hakkai-chan," You sigh at the reluctance, "Look, I'm not about to scar some little girls, okay?"

You would never think of hurting Mitsuya, period, but he didn't trust you so you had to appeal to his rational side.

"Yeah, lunch sounds good, [l/n]-san," Mitsuya cleared his throat, scratching the back of his neck.

"Yay!" Luna and Mana celebrated.

You took their little hands in yours, "Let's go!"

You excitedly broke apart your chopsticks, smiling all the while

You excitedly broke apart your chopsticks, smiling all the while.

There was a hot pot surrounded by different meats, sauces and rice.

The girls were excitedly waiting for Mitsuya to fill their bowls and side plates with their lunch.

"Itadakimasu!" The sisters yell out while you and the boys say if softer.

They dug in, the juiciness of the meats gushing over their chins, without their care.

You chuckle and take a slice of pork and drag it through the rice, smiling as you ate.

The atmosphere was a bit odd and strained.

You knew they would be suspicious of you, you would have been suspicious of your past self as well, so you took it in stride with understanding.

"Neh, neh, Onee-san!" Luna piped up, stopping to wipe her chin with the napkin cutely.

A memory of her crying, hair wild and unkempt, running to open the casket to find her dead brother. Her face was red, eyes bloodshot, the sound of her scream haunting your dreams.

You willingly sat under her interrogation with a fond smile, happy to be the center of her positive attention.

You recalled an older Luna, glaring at you with clipped words.
