Chapter 48

"The meeting of January 15th is starting!" Draken shouted, demanding silence from the 250 members of Toman. Everyone was ordered to attendance, not a single excuse was to be accepted. If you were told no by your parents? Tough shit, you leave anyways.

Not that many of these kids had parents or ones who could parent them in the first place.

The point was that this was a mandatory meeting, no exceptions...

Well, Choni from Smiley's division was excused since he was in the hospital from a fight that went a bit too far two days ago. His fault for egging his captain on, but that's just how things were in a gang. You heard that him and Smiley were laughing about it while the paramedics were loading Choni into the ambulance.

The shrine was filled with an anticipatory silence. The rows of delinquents standing with mixtures of concern and excitement, which you couldn't blame their apprehension, seeing as this was an emergency meeting. 

You stood on the first step, two bellow Draken as an executive, facing the crowd. You were wearing your red gang uniform and a new pair of black heels Koko had gotten you along with that blue scarf for New Years.

He got heels for Inui too, and you had a feeling Koko enjoyed seeing your brother figure in his heels.

You did too, to be fair, for different reasons, but you too. 

You held a blank face, and a straight back, reflecting the seriousness of the situation, hands in your pockets.

"Yesterday afternoon, second division captain, Mitsuya Takashi, and Toman Executive under the first division, [l/n] [y/n]-kun, were jumped by a newly forming gang in Yokohama." Draken declared with heat in his voice. You didn't look at him, but you could imagine just how worked up his face looked from his voice alone.

The shrine exploded in whispers, people exclaiming amongst themselves.

"They obviously came out as the victors with some help of the fourth division's Smiley and Angry!"

There were 'whoas' and 'whoops' in the crowd, becoming rowdy in an instant.

"They defeated over 100 members, few of the injured have been recognized as ex-Valhalla members after the incident!"

Deafening cheers. The shouts and chants could have shaken the ground in their hype.

A small grin broke through your stoic demeanor.

"Our [y/n]-kun defeated Kanji Mochizuki!" Draken shouted over the cheers.

Chants from the sea of boys started, '[y/n]! [y/n]!'

[y/n]!

The chanting became shattering, fists raising and arms flailing in celebration of another victory  by the Tokyo Manji Gang!

The noise swiftly petered to a stop when Mikey took a few steps closer to the top stair, you and Draken standing taller as you turned enough to watch the Commander.

The shrine was now silent, the only sound was the chilly wind blowing through the trees and the occasional shuffling foot or rustling cloth, "I am banning entry into to Yokohama until this issue has resolved. Zero entrance at any point."

Silence.

"I am upping security in Shibuya, Shinjuku and the Kanto region. Look to your captains for direction." His emotionless eyes looked to a point beyond everyone in attendance, as if he was looking into the trees, "No one is allowed to enter those territories until further notice. Any trespass into our ones is to be met with extreme violence."
