It was still a bit cold out, but that didn't mean there were no flowering winter Sakura trees to marvel at. Atamizakura and Jyuugatsuzakura petals littered the outdoor shopping mall walk ways, painting the scenery in varying shades of white and pinks.

Your heels stepped on the colorful Sakura path, hand holding the blond next to you, smile soft with a stick of pink, white and green dango in your other hand. You wore a black pleated skirt with your red and black checkered haori. The haori was held closed with an obi, tied around you with a giant black bow on your back, the excess from the obi trailing behind you.

"Ano, [y/n]-kun," The blond chuckled awkwardly, "Not that I don't appreciate that you're taking me out... why are you so dressed up?"

You grinned at him, "I had to dress miles better than you, of course." Your eyes turned cruel, "Maybe it will inspire you to dress better yourself," Your eyes narrowed, "Maybe even convince you to get rid of that ridiculous hair style of yours, Takemitchy-kun."

Takemitchy deflated at your answer, "Does my style even matter really?"

Your eyes narrowed further, "Yes. It does. First impressions are important." You lectured as if it was obvious and he should feel bad for asking.

He shook his head, "I just don't care."

You looked at his distasteful red sleeved, white shirt that read 'All Star' in English.

"Mikey-kun had it right, you're a lot like Shinichiro-kun, no sense of taste at all."

Takemitchy blushed, "Hey! I-I'm sure he didn't mean it like that!"

You grinned, ignoring him, "You should thank me, Takemitchy-kun, [y/n]-onesan is here to help you." And it would have been cute if you didn't have an aura like you were going to hurt him.

He gulped, "Ah... Do we really need--"

"Yes," You dead panned. You sighed, and became more sympathetic to his lack of style, "Yare, yare~ You're not a total lost cause, so I'll help you out."

Your hand tightened on his, giggling girlishly and his face filled with dread, "[y-y/n]-kun?"

You just continued to giggle, it sounding more creepy than cute, "I'll help you, Takemitchy-kun~" You drug him behind you, both of your feet kicking up the pink and white winter Sakura petals into the air.

"W-wait! [y/n]-kun!" Takemitchy laughed a bit, your happiness, scary or not, was contagious.

You smiled inwardly to yourself, doing your best to distract him from his thoughts. Poor Takemichi had been a mess in the last three days since he'd returned to the past. So, you asked him out on a date to distract him. It wasn't a real date, obviously, but you really just wanted to make sure he was going to be okay.

You understood that Takemichi wasn't like you. He lived a different life in his original timeline. You weren't saying he wasn't capable, he was very capable, but you knew he had zero clue how to take care of himself. So you were going to be there for your fellow time leaper.

Your smile didn't fade one bit when you thought on how you asked him out on a date. He had been with Mitsuya and Chifuyu speaking about their respective collaboration between units and you had walked up to him with a smile and declared the two of you were going on a date. You had grabbed his hand with innocent eyes and said goodbye to Mitsuya and Chifuyu.

[Takemichi would never tell you this, but he was terrified of the look Mitsuya gave him when your back turned. The threat to his life he felt in the second division captain's purple eyes had nearly burned him alive... 'Mitsuya-kun was really scary'.]
